Another eBay/Target churn refugee here. That was such a high! Waking up to find eBay Bucks promos every week or other week, hoping your Target cards from the last churn come in the mail in time to flip them back into eBay cards to take advantage of that week’s deal, Ebates earning 2% at Target, $500 eBucks every quarter across two players, and Ebates checks for like $200 more. It funded a stay at the Disneyland Hotel and Aulani for us, plus a good amount of shopping at Target and eBay. Those were good times!

I'm still using the pencils and tape I bought with every gc order to make it a 'legit' number... those were good times... I got in about 6 months or so

So do you like it better than WDW? I am wanting to take DD2 back to WDW at the end of the year before she turns 3 (12/19) and am contemplating DL instead. I think DH (anti-disney guy ) might be more onboard with that since his brother lives in LA. Worst case I will just take the kids to WDW without him. I haven't booked anything yet b/c I was hoping she will shoot up to 38"+ to be able to ride more so was waiting to see if that happens by fall or need to wait til December.

December is nice for the Christmas decorations. You can always start your trip 12/18 and she’s free the whole trip. We did one trip 12/20-12/26 and one 12/5-12/18. Girls loved seeing all the decorations at the resorts and parks. Youngest will turn 5 this dec and just said something about wanting her bday at Disney again. Told her we have to save up for that since we don’t have enough to pay for food and extras. I can use the cc rewards for flights and Dvc for rooms if available but that doesn’t cover the food and extras they always want.
Really need a good disney gift card deal. So miss the eBay and target days. When it switched to Best Buy guess we purchased to much then and got locked out of PayPal :-(

I booked our November WDW trip through Cruise and Tour on DH's CIP and have changed the reservation twice and I don't think they've ever asked to speak with him. Just have the full credit card number in front of you for the call. Don't know if it would be any different using URs, but considering they asked me on the first call if I wanted to use URs and I said no, I'm guessing not.



I use it. I haven't had any issues so far. It is irritating because some airlines aren't participants and you can't add your number for them. I know United is one and I think AA too.

I'm back from the Toy Story Land opening and catching up on this thread. Despite my best efforts I doubt I will catch up to you on Marriott points Wow! Over 1.4 million! That is so awesome!!! Glad you got a fair resolution for the stress of that Fairfield booking too.

I'm still in the process of combining SPG points all into my account. Two more accounts with 30k each to go. I got some transferred over to my Marriott account already and am sitting on a little over 630,000. Still waiting on the 20k bonus points for upgrading and when all is said and done I should be at 830,000 Marriott points. We've already got 2 of the 7 night cat 1-5 certs. I may try my luck at securing a couple of the 5 night ones for cat 8 properties and try to secure something before August. If we can't I'll get as many cat 1-5 packages as I can just for the miles. We'll see how it goes.

Are you transferring direct in SPG accts? I wish I had that much buying power for it right now..... I was seeing others having transfer issues,they're obviously allowing more than 30k per year in your SPG now...right?

I had ordered glue sticks. Miss those days since now they ask where’s our glue stick package and Mickey cards lol trying to explain to a 4 yr old we don’t get them anymore like that. Now you get just glue sticks.

Does anyone here use the app Awardwallet to keep track of points you earned? Is it safe?

I use it for both DH and I. It's been very handy. I love that I get an email every week that tells me of any balances that have changed.
I haven't heard of any security issues, but you are having it save all of your account info, so there's always going to be a risk.

For you with ebay "businesses" how do you estimate shipping? Or do you do the tool where shipping is calculated by the buyer's zip code? I way underestimated for DS's Nintendo switch. It was $20-something to send priority to Cali. I think I charged a flat $12 for shipping.

Catching up after my grandpa was visiting this weekend. I took today off so i wouldn't have to worry about getting up at two am... but apparently grandpa wore me out because I just do not what to get up We were even able to pay for most things this weekend, even though grandpa kept saying but you paid for the hotel! Yes, but not with money... and then yesterday he gave us some money "to put into our savings" which negated everything we were able to cover. Grandparents always seem to get rhe last word...

For anyone with a vanilla Amex Platinum that enrolled in the new Saks $100 offer, check your account - many people (including me) reporting that they got a $50 Saks credit without buying anything.

My guess is Amex claws it back. Enrollment in the offer in the first place was super glitchy.

Oddly, I have it on only two of my logins. My dh and ds card, on my Amex Delta blue account. Neither I or dd got it, nor did any of the logins for our Hilton cards or DH's Amex Delta Platinum. Very odd LOL.
I lied, it just showed up on DH's card, Delta Amex and both Hiltons as well. Not sure what I would get online at Sams, but gotta save the offers just in case

Shipping unfortunately has really gone up since I started selling on eBay...and since I’m on the east coast it’s a lot more $$ to ship to the west coast than someplace closer.
