I love credit cards so much!

SO after doing some reading this is the issue. I should've just waited for ya'll to reply instead of researching. lol

I got it in June 2017 so my AF doesn't hit til 7/1. So should I call back tomorrow and ask to PC my now CS to a CF or wait awhile?

@wendow it must have been this one I remembered you pc'd under a year, not that CIP I was just asking you about. At least now I know I'm not crazy.
:teeth:
That’s what did with DH’s CSR. PC’d to the no fee S and then when the year was up PC’d that to the CF. Only to PC that to the CFU.

Anyone here sign up for the new Chase Business Unlimited card? I have seen lots of blogs about it, but haven't seen many mention it here. Are there referrals for this card?
That’s next on my list. I was waiting some to help ensure approval.

Is checking out with Paypal Credit different from checking out with Paypal? I just made an online purchase where Paypal Credit was an option. When I clicked it it said I needed to fill in additional information.

I have made many Paypal purchased online the quarter to get the 5x CF points and usually it would just bring me to my Paypal login.

ETA: Oh wait, if I PC to CF I don't have any more UR cards in my name. So what happens to the earnings from the CF? Do they turn into cash back? I have a CIP under a different log in.

CF is an UR card, yer good.

PayPal Credit is PayPal's credit line, sound like maybe they were offering to open it if you didn't already have it?

So I am needing to order apple AirPods for DH for Father's Day.

I am thinking ordering from staples with shopping portal is my best bet...10% amex rebate plus the portal rebate. Can anyone think of any other ideas?

ok! Since it is called cash back I thought maybe it only converts to UR if you have a sapphire.

The only difference is how you can redeem them. A CF can't transfer to partners and only gets 1cpp on everything (stmt credit, gift cards, travel). You'd probably want to setup a transfer relationship to a card that gets better redemptions for when you want to use them.

It's either good or bad marketing on Chase's part that makes the distinction. It's buried in the fine print that you earn UR points that can be redeemed for cashback on the cash back cards :)

OK thanks! I can send them to DHs CSR until I can DD the CSR/CSP next year.

Costco been having them on sale. Rumor is that v2 is coming out very soon.

Gah! I still think I will have enough I just have to wait until my Marriott bonus of 100k comes in and transfer those as well.
What’s the cash price of the tickets? You would need all 100k points to get 33k SPG, that’s just enough for one round trip ticket, but that could be several hotel nights.

Any suggestions for what DH and I should do our third day in Anaheim? We're planning on two days at DL. We've been before, so I think two days will be sufficient. I was thinking we'd check out Downtown Disney our last day, but I know that won't take all day. Our only issue with going into LA to do stuff is we'll have a carry on and no car to store it in... thoughts?
I'm WAY behind, sorry, but my suggestion is to go to the beach.

I went to make burgers on the grill tonight only to find a sparrow’s nest with 4 babies in it. That Lowe’s 10% off on the SPG Biz is looking pretty nice right now since we now have a grill to replace. I am being lazy at the moment, can it be used for online puchases?

Airport experts, would you prefer to fly in/out of Denver or Albuquerque? Prices are similar (I will be flying Southwest because I have funds that need to be used before September). Denver has slightly better flight times, but is an hour farther from where we actually need to be (will be renting a car and driving into the New Mexico forest). I'm thinking that as a larger airport, Denver will be more of a hassle (security, car rental), so I'm leaning toward Albuquerque. I have been in the Denver airport before but only to make a connection, never as a final destination, and have never been to Albuquerque. Anyone with experience at one or both airports?

Looking at a cruise after Christmas to take advantage of a school break. Found a pretty cool itinerary out of New York on Norwegian.

What do folks think of using around 266k URs via CSR for a $4k cruise? We have the points but of course I hate to use them!!

Can’t really think of another way to get a discount on NCL.

I forgot to mention that Hyatt House is a new construction hotel that opened in summer 2016. Four Points by Sheraton was the Hotel Menage that had some renovations done in late 2016 to early 2017 when it rebranded to a Sheraton.

I had read about the Sheraton being the former Hotel Menage. It sounded like it has an awesome pool and the renovations are nice, but the crossing an on ramp thing worries me with a 3-turning-4-year-old. New construction with an easy walk sounds much better! I'm about halfway through my CIC MSR so hopefully I'll have the points soon to transfer to Hyatt.
