I just called recon line and, as I suspected, I was denied my SW business card. He said the reasons were too many open accounts (2 business cards) too many recent inquiries, too new of a business. All valid points I have to say. My last Chase cards were two in one day - a SW personal premeir and a CIC. I knew I was pushing it, but I wanted that elevated SW bonus.
So now my question is how long do I wait before I can apply again for Chase? I'm thinking January - is that enough time?

In good news I did get my DH to call today and was able to transfer all of his points to my CSR!

When was the 2 Chase cards on the same day? And when was the last Chase app before that? Best to average to no more than 1 every 3 months. So that might be 6 months from the 2 on same day.

Not alone! We leave for a Med cruise out of Barcelona in just over 2 weeks! Hoping for pleasant weather, not too hot and not too cold. We are on Celebrity, got a fantastic price for a balcony cabin. What line are you on?

My mom, stepdad,and uncle are cruising out of Barcelona on Nov 15th on Celebrity! Is that the same one or is yours earlier? They were kind of nervous about Barcelona after the protests earlier this year but decided to still go. They're going a few days early to tour the city.

We leave on the 13th! On the Equinox, 8 nights ending in Lisbon. We are also going to Barcelona for a few days pre-cruise, first time in Spain and very excited!

I'm doing Princess. It was down to Celebrity and Princess and I just preferred the Princess itinerary (Croatia and Montenegro were places I wanted to see).

Unfortunately, you have to call in or I should say the player that has a card and points. They will have to call him to transfer and after that it should show up online as an option under that person’s profile.

After he calls, assuming it’s his card that he’s transferring points to you. He’ll need to ask to transfer to a card of your choosing have him give a Chase ultimate rewards card of yours that you plan on keeping so you don’t have to go through this again. Once the points are transferred over the phone the card should appear online for future transfers under his profile.

This is sort of my area of expertise at least with respect to Princess.

Chase has had my reservation since July and they can’t always refare it but I’ve been able to change rooms and get the new lower rate. When I first booked in June I booked an obstructed balcony room with the basic (Plus) package for $6,900. I’ve moved up three categories and upgraded my package and my current fare is $5,200. I haven’t used my urs to pay for it yet though. I would think you’d get a refund of urs (which will take months) but am not sure.

The other option with Princess is the better than best price guarantee form where they’ll give a credit that you can use for things like excursions.

PSA - For those looking to move Chase URs to a CSR before the 26th October change. probably best not to leave it to the last minute. I have experienced several failures at the confirmation page on P2s account. It eventually goes through after the 2 or 3 tries. My account has been fine though.

Nonetheless, who knows what gremlins will hit the system if lots of people are doing last minute transfers on the 25th, so probably best to get it done sooner if you can.

I almost forgot about this. I only have CSP, but have 490,000 UR and DH had 40k post Thursday which I just transferred today.
