I am currently 1/24 with Chase and just got a CIU last month. I never had any Amex MR cards and I saw the Green has a SUB of 60K MR. I read you cannot get a Green if you ever had the Gold or Plat so I am thinking this may be a good card for me. Eventually, I plan to close the Green and move up the ladder. Currently I have 4 Amex cards (Hilton and Marriott) and I guess I should be able to get 1 more Amex (in theory lol). Does anyone have any thoughts on the Green Card?

I can only get the 40k to pop for me on the green card. We would be doing it for the same reason as you to climb up the ladder for my husband with Amex charge cards. His Clear membership will be up for renewal soon and you get clear with the green card, if it didn’t I likely wouldn’t think about the green.

Currently, we have about 10 nights left to plan and I think we need to save min 1-2 nights for London in order to be near Southampton before getting on the ship. Any good shows in the west end in June?

My sisters just went to see Hercules which just opened in the West End a couple months ago. They thoroughly enjoyed it so maybe worth considering.

The green is a charge card (as are the gold and plat) and doesn't count towards the 5 Amex credit card limit. Charge card limit is 10 open, which I've never come remotely close to lol.

I'm eyeing a green card tbh. I would break even from the fees for our DCL trips alone. We should hear back about the Bilt card shortly. They said October. You still have until the end of October if you have that before the CSR peels back the 3x. But 2 DCL cruises should cover that fee. Forgot to add that I get "up to 60k," but then when I go in, it goes down to 45k.

I apologize but I am not understanding what you mean regarding the BILT card and also the CSR. I do have both of these cards lol but I have been major league slacking in following this board and all of the CC news online. I do know that the CSR is changing everything along with raising their AF. I just paid my last AF in June so I guess I am good till next year on that. I need to catch up on the specific CSR changes.

When I was approved (after a very long 10 day wait) they said there was no way to expedite it and that it would arrive in 10 (more) business days. This card took forever to arrive.
