I love credit cards so much! v7.0 - 2025 (see first page for add'l details)

TWA hotel was expensive but we still feel it was worth it for the convenience. It was really nice to wake up and walk right into the airport. The room definitely had some wear and tear but the beds were comfortable and we didn’t hear any outside noise from the airport. We all thought the theming around the hotel was really fun! Ds enjoyed playing pretend in the salon and playing the giant Twister game. We thought we wouldn’t pay for the pool but we ended up doing it and we all loved it. It’s very pricey as a hotel guest ($25/adult for 1 hr and 45 minutes). The lady was awesome and didn’t charge us for ds. She said “he looks 4 right?” lol. They keep the pool around 95 degrees which felt really nice.

Received my Motherlode backpack today. And it's the same size as my wife's Motherlode carry-on. Have any of you used the full size as a personal item? Or should I send it back and get the Jr. instead?

It’s currently 10:40 pm here. We’re waiting on room service and then hoping to sleep. Ds has tons of energy because it feels like 5:40 pm to him. He did great on the plane and in the airport. We chose to take a car service to the hotel which was great. Ds was pretty delirious and at one point laughed continuously at nothing for about 10 minutes straight 😅 The driver probably thought we were crazy lol

We took public transit the entire time we were there. Citymapper is a great app for getting around. Helps you know where to go and where to get on. Love public transit there when traveling with kids

We took an Uber boat to the Tower this morning which was nice. I’m glad we had a car service after the flight though. It would’ve been really hard to take public transport with all of our suitcases

The weirdest thing happened. I applied for CIP yesterday using DH's link, I was logged into his account to get the link when I applied. I was instantly approved. I logged into my account but the card wasn't there, so I thought that maybe I would have to create another account. Turns out that the card was added to his account!

I hope this doesn't create a problem since I used his referral. I know I applied with my name and social because I received an email that my report was pulled and I got an email from Chase congratulating me.

My DH uses it. It doesn't fit well under an aisle seat but he usually puts it in the overhead.

I have a question.... I booked a cruise on chase portal straight up -got the conf. email etc. (did all this on a call in) but it doesn't show online in my trips? is that normal?

Datapoint - Yesterday I applied for a biz CIP, with having two open Chase biz cards, and got the "review" window. Sigh. We have college tuition coming up at the end of the month -- I was hoping to have a sign up bonus to use.

Just a datapoint to those who got the $50 travel credit on their CSP/CIP recently: I got an email about it for my CSP, but did NOT get the email on CIP. I just used the credit on my CSP for an airport transfer in Asia. After that, I went into my CIP and booked two attractions (a Skydeck in Vietnam and Changi Jewel in Singapore), and another $50 credit showed up for the CIP as well! So even if you didn't get the email, it seems like the $50 credit shows up for both if you hold both cards. Both purchases were under $50 by a few dollars, so I forfeited something like $7 remaining on the credits, but I'm fine with that since it saved me around $90 oop.
I've been looking and can't figure out where to any credits? I just used one $50

I was hoping the AF option would make a yes more possible (my big theory lol)

and I have my current dumb question re: chase velocity.... ink, last app 1/25, CSP,5/25- are both included in that velocity? or biz on it's own?

I had to book one thing on the travel portal under my CSP, and then after I used that credit, I switched to the travel portal under my CIP, and then another credit showed up at checkout there.

when was your last ink app? or chase app....I'm considering giving it another go
For me last ink was 01/19/25 and last Chase overall was 04/19/25

For DW last ink and Chase was 05/13/25.

On the newest episode of the Miles to Go podcast they said that there was a post on the Travel on Points Facebook with updated Ink terms stating that after October 7, 2025 you will only get support points if you refer someone who is a new Chase business card customer. I haven't found the post they are referring to but I'm going to look. If true it might be good to try now and then again before October 7 but again I don't think this is confirmed as of now.

I got a CSP when they had the 100k bonus. I haven't seen an email but if I try to book a hotel in the portal will I see the credit before I complete the transaction?

DD just got the "We are reviewing you info" when applying for the AMEX Gold Biz. Could it be because she has never had an AMEX Card before? She has a few Chase Cards and Discover and over 800 Credit Score. Hopefully, she gets approved within the next few days.

Did your DD hear back? DH got this message applying for the Delta gold biz. But he has/had plenty of Amex cards. The application status page doesn't seem to be working either.

Yes, this was reported on DoC a week ago, and I posted about it on post #3905, see:
Looks like support bonuses for Chase Biz cards is dying on Oct 7th, if you are an existing Biz customer. Only new Chase Biz customers are eligible for the support bonus, according to new post on DoC.
I think I'll have to try my hand at one more Ink before this change takes effect... Not sure if I'll be approved since I currently hold one CIU and one CIC, but I'll try. Accumulating URs through churning is becoming harder and harder.

Yes, you'll see it show as a "Promotion" available to use and apply before completing the transaction. It instantly takes off $50, it's not a statement credit.

DH instant approval for the Amex Aspire (will be nice to have in Hawaii I think) and I was approved for IHG biz. Got the virtual # for the Aspire so that spend will get hit quickly!

Question- can you hold the Marriot Bonvoy Biz and the Chase Bonvoy? We dont need a third new card right now but it was on our list to look at and I wasnt sure
