Southwest is losing money so I wouldn’t expect it. They’re massively changing their operations next year literally because what they’ve been doing isn’t working.

I think we are going to be at TDL around the same time, because I also booked an Unlimited Package there and Frozen will be closed (I think it's a short 2 week closure) but we did get the other rides. We've never been before.
That hotel looks nice, but we’ll probably be staying at a Marriott property on points to make it a cheap trip. Just a half year of my husband’s work travel & it looks like we enough points to take care of the hotel stay.

Universal is so easy since you're staying at one of the hotels that offers express pass. It can be used for almost every ride with the exception of Hagrid's Motorbike Adventure in Islands of Adventure. If you have park-park tickets, you will be able to take the Hogwarts Express between parks. Otherwise, that ride is not included. Your little guy will probably love the Seuss area as well as the Jurassic exploration center and dig area. There's also a new Dreamworks themed play area in Universal. We really enjoyed the food at Toothsome Chocolate Emporium in City Walk. Lots of people love Mythos in Islands of Adventure if you're looking for table service. For quick service, we liked the options in the Springfield area of Universal or the options in the different Harry Potter areas. I hope you have a fantastic time. Universal is a favorite in our house!
Yes, I've never had a discover and all my kids just app'ed and were approved for Navy Fed cards very early. But they all had AU cards and also app'ed for Chase and Amex of their own and were approved. They had Navy Fed accounts pretty much from birth so a history with them.
Yes, I think that Discover is the common path. My DD got a Visa from the credit union where she kept her bank account, and that works, too. From there she was able to get a CFU and then move up to the CSP.
Thank you for responding! We’re really excited to try something new. Ds loves thrill rides and as of right now really only asks to go to Hollywood studios for tower of terror so we thought we’d branch out to universal now. I’d love to ride Hagrid’s but not willing to wait super long for it so I may skip it this time since ds can’t ride. I went through all of the rides with him and he’s most excited for King Kong (I thought this would scare him but he watched the video and said it looks cool) and Spiderman. He also wants to meet shrek, SpongeBob, and watch the Dr. Seuss show because he’s obsessed with the grinch. I want to ride all of the coasters since we have express pass. I think we’re planning to mostly mobile order everything. We haven’t bought tickets yet. I can’t decide if it’s worth it to get park to park for just the Hogwarts Express. Our plan was to do one park each day. I’m not sure ds will care about riding it and dh and I have been on it before.
My DD started with Chase Freedom Student when she turned 18. I know that's not the recommended path, but it worked for her.
After several years of having dd as an AU on my Chase Hyatt card I applied for the CSP for her and she was approved. 'She' has since been approved for a few CIUs and CIPs.
