I want the new iPhone. That is all.
Quick drive by - can't remember who it was that had the Chase banned IP denial (sorry!) but it looks like they may have a fix and have reconsidered at least a couple applications as reported in r/churning yesterday
Have to run, hopefully someone will tag PP in the meanwhile.![]()
Just used plastiq for the first time yesterday to meet most of the spend required on my new CIU. Thinking about using while we're paying off our HELOC over the next 5 or so months. I understand that HELOC payments can't be made with Visas, so how do you find out what all cards are issued as Mastercards? I see discover counts as well too, but I don't know of any sign up bonuses that would be worth the fee it seems.
I'm waiting for my Citi Premier (80K/$4K MSR - all time highest offer) to arrive and it's a MC that I'm planning on meeting spend through Plastiq, so if you are 0/6 then that's one to consider. BoA has some MCs too, I've used biz BoAs on Plastiq for mortgage in the past and I've been lucky that my service processor counts as travel on the Customized Cash Rewards card - that is extremely YMMV though.Just used plastiq for the first time yesterday to meet most of the spend required on my new CIU. Same, but DH and I switch who hold the CSR each year. When you do that the AF is -$50. Use the $300 travel credit twice.Just finished the bonus for DW's CIC so of course I had to apply for another CIU for myself this morning. Got approved for a monster credit limit of $5,000. My highest so far on a Chase business card. It really doesn't matter as this is my 4th so I have a healthy credit limit I can move around between cards. I have really liked using PYB for dining on the CSR. I wasn't going to keep it after the first year but if the annual fee continues to be a part of PYB and I can keep getting business card bonuses I'll definitely keep it.
I downgraded CSP to plain Sapphire today. DH has CSP (which I'll upgrade to CSR before travel next year) and CFU x2. I have CFF already. Had them transfer all my URs to DH CSP. Was already linked DH to mine but not vice versa. Now I can see his card for future transfers.Called this morning and product changed my Brilliant to the regular Bonvoy. Call took about 5 minutes. I was a bit hesitant because I did not want to go through the retention spiel. No spiel, just service. I will get my 50K FNC. and I'm 2 days away from the annual fee posting, so there will be a $2.47 prorate. Done. Can upgrade back whenever. Easy peasy.
I had the same thought. Last year was Target, Amazon and Walmart IIRCNot impressed discover. 5% cash back at Amazon.com and Digital Wallets
I thought they normally had target in q4 or is that freedom.
I booked 2 Hyatt properties, transferred URs for much of it. Andaz Peninsula Papagayo and Los Altos, buyer beware there may be fees for more than 2 people in a room. We have been twice before but not on points. We don't rent a car but plan to use a car service for transfers. We loved Manuel Antonio and Arenal. Monteverde was slightly less impressive. We loved Tortuguero the most during turtle hatch season (October I think). Also enjoyed Cano Negro boat tour.Where do you guys go/stay when in Costa Rica? We are now thinking we may swap Japan for Costa Rica next year (2023). My DS and BIL want to go to Europe with us, and they can't pull off accumulating all the points by next year, so that's probably not going to be the replacement for Japan at this point. Now looking into Costa Rica. If we could do flights through SW (by transferring URs), that would be helpful. The only hotels we have points with are Hilton and IHG. We would be willing to pay the hotel costs, however, if it wasn't too crazy. Do most go to Manuel Antonio area? I guess the three areas we'd be interested in visiting are Manuel Antonio, Arenal, and Monteverde Cloud Forest. Looking at a 10 day trip. Is three areas too much? How is driving in the country? Any recommendations on Costa Rica would be great!
