Quoting myself with an update on the new Chase Ink card. OMAAT and TPG are reporting that the points will not be combinable with other UR, nor will it have transfer partners. 😱 So the points are only worth 1 cpp. What a big disappointment!

Hope it's not a sign of things to come. But off to combine all the small points I have on various cards to the CSP.
Well looks like I'll skip this and go for another CIC or CIU to combine with my CSR.

Assuming the "UR" are non-transferable, it's certainly disappointing -- was looking forward to having a new daily driver with the 2x/2.5x. Still, a $805 SUB (less that AF) and the 2%/2.5% rates could have some value to anyone who is able to MS, particularly if you trigger the $5k+ tier. Additionally, if the pay-in-full feature means it will be a charge card with no traditional credit limit, it will also not count towards the soft cap of 50% credit:income that Chase tends to enforce. So, the Premier could essentially be a "free" SUB if you're already tapped out on your Chase credit limit and don't want to reduce any CLs.

It would be sad if that will change to other cards moving forward.....non combinable means not for me.

P2 got approved for an Amex Biz 150k yesterday....she had been on pop up for personal AMEX cards a few months ago not sure if the spend she put on her normal Plat helped or if business is separate from the pop up. Either way based on the the signup I should be able to do $800 in Dell credits from one annual fee if we do not end up keeping past the one year mark.

Okay BF has a $4k spend he's dropping very soon. What card should we be looking at?

I always say throw large organic towards Amex since it's harder to MS. If you or he hasn't had the Resy Plat yet, knock out 4/6k (assuming 5/24 isn't an issue). If you have had the vanilla Plat, consider signing up for a High Yield Investor Checking account with Charles Schwab, throwing $100 (minimum) into it and then applying for the CS Plat while its still at 100k MR (same 6k MSR).

Anyone have any luck getting Marriott Free Night Cert expiration extended lately? I have a 50k that expires 6/30/22, but I would really like to be able to use it in October.

Can you convert the Amex Plat into decent money still? He's looking for money back more than rewards.

When I was trying to get my FNC extended for Jan in Sept/Oct, they said to call back closer to the expiration date.

Several months back, I tried more than once, to get Chase to transfer my biz UR's to my personal via SM. They wouldn't do it, I had to call. Yesterday I sent SM for both my biz and dh biz, asking to combine each of those with my personal CSP UR's and to my shock, they actually did it, without calling!

I also just found the Target 10% offer on my biz cards. Now, Disney gift cards or Target gift cards (since I buy all groceries and household goods at Target).

I couldn't find the other person booking DLP as well, but I can tell whoever else was going this, I was tired my dog just passed I didn't get much sleep the night before, so I used the Disney premier card it looks like there is a foreign transaction fee, so I'm thinking if this is coded as travel the CSR must to get 3x back, I didn't even think of it being coded as foreign but I should have known better.

Triple dip the airline credit ($600), cash out the 100k MR at 1.1 cpp via CS ($1100), less the $695 AF and you're looking at a net cash value of $1,005. If you get anything out of the Uber/Saks or other credits then just add those to the calculation.

Hmmmm, so that's doing the CS Plat? I'll share w/ him. But I know that the airline credit means nothing to him, LOL. He gets to fly free. So to him it's likely a no go w/ the $1100 w/ the $695 AF. But he might use Uber credits when he's on a trip. I'll pitch it to him, LOL.

My niece is going through the exact same phase. She’s around 12-13 years old too. We bought her a Guns N Roses record for Christmas lol
My newly teenaged (turned 13 twelve days ago) has a look my sister calls "messy". Looks more lazy to me. Messy hair, oversized, baggy clothes. Older niece is definitely more athletic style, fitted clothes. DS is just sports jerseys and athletic pants if he can get away with it.

I had the same issue when I SM'd but got an explanation of how to combine URs. Except the pesky little "add card" button is not there. They were happy to SM that I should call if I couldn't manage 🙄. When I called, it was quick and then the rep asked if there was anything else she could do. I said yeah, tell them to fix it so I can move my own URs without calling. She said they're working on it.

I don't fly much myself, but I've been able to book for others to max out my airline credits. If he's not going to factor in the credits, then I would target a lower AF card that you can cash out at 1 cpp with like the CIU/CIC. We're in triple dip season, which is why I always lead with Plats, but it certainly isn't for everyone.

My niece is the same. Huge, baggy clothes. She’s also into things like crystals and tapestries lol. They were on her Christmas list and I told dh I’m not getting either of those.

Can you explain the triple dip airline credit to me? Thanks!
