That worked perfectly! Thank you! Apparently I JUST crossed the threshold. I'm at $10,025! So I guess I would've figured it out pretty soon anyhow lol
I checked my account and it is a $12,000 limit on the plain Freedom. Pretty sure it’s the same for the unlimited, so double check!

I believe HS has been sold out everywhere since before the pandemic. Well except for random single seats here and there. My 16yo loves her 1D like her mom loved/loves NKOTB, LOL. So trust me, she's looked up every single place he's playing. I think she's pushing for me to allow her to see him in TX. Her other family has already said they'll by her and her BFF the $1k VIP ticket, LOL.

Hi, my name is Amy....I'm 44 and I still love SS! I think I wrote every paper in college on SS I could. And I collect Elmos, lol. My mom said I was mesmerized from a very early age w/ SS. And apparently my 3yo self pitched a fit because I HAD to have a yellow winter coat to match my big bird hat, LOL.

Sesame Street saved my sanity when my now 42 and 1/2 year old was age 1+. As did the stuffed animal 'Heathcliff' for my younger daughter. She loved that thing until it was in tatters. I had to sew it back together. Got her an identical one which she accepted but still wouldn't relinquish the original. I think this toy originally belonged to her brother, but he passed it on.

Based on the way SW bills for a ticket, the payment will be split between the 2 tickets on the CC statement, right? I want to book my ticket with DH’s so his A list will be passed along to my ticket but I am trying to my CC credits so the total due is $178 but I think SW will split that into 2 charges so it would credit. Am I thinking, right?
You are right it seems like the charge is always split up, but Ive never tried it. I didn’t want to risk not having the airline credit post. But it will probably be fine.

Trying to decide which card to get next and open to any suggestions. The only cards I've opened in the past 3 years are the CSP and Amex Gold. I've reached the bonus on the CSP and am almost to the SUB on the Amex as well. I have no hotel or airline loyalty, I go with whichever works with my time frame and budget. That being said, I'm not opposed to a brand specific card, probably hotel over airline though (have an old SW Chase card I never use). Hilton, Hyatt, Marriott? I'm thinking Hilton because MR seems to accumulate faster and easier to transfer than UR? Still fairly new at this game so open to any suggestions! All bonus points will eventually be used for travel, planning to use the MR for first class flights, and UR for hotels or car rentals.

Yes, absolutely this. When DS was little, we always had a change or 2 of clothes for him and at least shirts for both DH and me. Even now, we usually have a tshirt and underwear in case we get stranded or something.
Dh and I normally never bring clothes with us on the plane but I’ll try to remember to pack extras this time

Our original flight was TUL -->DAL --> MCO it was changed to: DAL--> IAH-->MSY-->MCO. Even the chat agent commented on the crazy change.

We have had that happen too. They changed the flights and the flight time leaving our home airport and the flight time leaving at our connection flight were at the same time. Not sure how that was going to happen. Was never notified either. But I always check the flights periodically to make sure all is good...

Do you have any interest in business cards? The Ink business cards are an excellent source of UR’s right now. Paired with your CSP you could use PYB to cash out at 1.25cpp.

I am considering a big trip to the Maldives in 2022 and am in the very, very early planning stages. I have never really booked airlines with points other than Southwest, so I am a novice. I really appreciate any expert assistance. @*WDW*Groupie* @calypso726 @TinkFan74

I would like to secure 6 one way business class tickets on Emirates, and I believe one of the better point options is through Alaska Air, by a hefty margin, and the taxes are so cheap through Alaska.
Alaska Air (6) x 82.5k + $29taxes= 495k + $174
Emirates (6) x 117k + $236taxes = 702k + $1416

1) Has anyone seen (6) business class tickets released on Alaska Air for Emirates? I have been watching but am not seeing new releases, and the most I can find for existing flights is 4.
2) I am a bit leery to put my eggs in Alaska’s bucket due to the OneWorld merger and uncertainty with whether that means Emirates would even be a partner. But I would expect I’d need to book this in the next 3-6 months, so that lessons the worry some. Thoughts?

I would plan to open some Alaska Air cards and buy points at a 60% bonus (I did the math and it makes sense to me) if I go that route. If I book straight through Emirates, I see lots of 6 seat award availability and it’s an easy transfer from URs.

I am thinking Qatar Airways booked through American for the other direction.
My easiest currencies are URs and MRs. I’ll take any advice I can get.

DD was a month shy of 5 years old on our first trip. On our flight home, she spilled coke all over herself. Flight attendant gave her A napkin. Luckily, we had clothes in her backpack, because she had changed into long pants for the flight. Not so lucky, the clothes she changed out of were shorts and it was below zero at home when we landed.

I'm not opposed, but I admit I'm a little apprehensive about going down that road. The only "business" I would have are some ebay sales.

I just looked at the Chase Ink cards, my issue is I'd have a hard time meeting the MSR on those. I don't really have the time to delve into manufactured spend either.
Agreed, they do have a hefty MSR. My next suggestion would be either Hilton or AMEX Marriott cards. The SUBS are currently elevated. You may need to check Marriott, it could have ended or it’s close to ending. If you think you can use those points. I went for the Hilton Biz first to keep so it wouldn’t affect my 5/24.

I sell used/unwanted items on eBay and haven’t had any issues getting a Chase business card....
Edited to add...I saw you have an old SW card...if you still fly them you could apply for a SW business card

Random info in case it's useful for anyone with a BofA Biz checking account. Evidently, as of Jan, they upped the minimum balance requirement to avoid monthly fees from 3k to 5k. I either didn't get or ignored the letter that they supposedly sent about it. I noticed a $16 fee on my account today and found out about the change. Thankfully, they reversed the fee this time.
