I ordered some refrigerator filters from home depot for the platinum amex credit. Unfortunately, I got the wrong size. If I return then at the local store and buy the right size there, will Amex claw back the credit? What if I return them for store credit?

Home Depot will do store credit if you ask.

Good point. It is definitely more to fly into Key West and rent a car. It wasn't bad from Miami. I can't believe some of the prices folks are quoting on here for a car!

Keep checking! Last week, the only cars I could find for Yellowstone were ridiculous amounts of money even using the websites recommended here. Yesterday, I checked again and under $2k for 12 days. Still expensive but definitely better than $9k.

Trying to book a trip for May to celebrate graduations. We would like to stay in the US. We have 2 free nights with Hilton, 1 free night with Marriott, 5 Marriott Suite upgrades, and lots of Delta points/Delta Vacation dollars. I was looking at the Florida keys yesterday. Was thinking about Baker's Cay for a few nights and then either Hawk's Cay or head down to Key West. Any thoughts? Girls are 22 and 19. We will probably fly into Miami and rent a car.

I think Key West is great for those ages, all ages actually. My husband and I used to go there for Memorial Day in college to party, would go there as a weekend away when my kids were small, and are probably going in the next couple of months to celebrate our 20-year anniversary. We love to stay at Simonton Court or Island City House - both have 1 and 2 bedroom accommodations in great locations.

Did DCL say anything about vaccines being required when you booked? Maybe the DCL client base will be ok if it is required after the fact, if not?

So glad my fabulous Costco agent stayed with me yesterday instead of sending me to another team that would get back to me in one to two days. The cruise I booked (which had gone up $540 before I was able to book, then another $180 last night) is showing no availability for anything but inside or concierge. Not sure if it's a glitch or the silver castaway club members snatched everything else up. Seems to be strong demand for cruises and I know lots of people are sitting on large credits.

Finally got my Citi checking bonus. That was a long wait! Opened 10/26, funded on 11/9 and bonus posted on 3/16. And now to move the funds back.

I still didn’t get mine yet but it was funded in early December. What is good plan after? Move the money and then close account? Trying to plan ahead.

If I have a pay-when-you-get-there reservation with Hertz (booked through AAA) does that mean they will have a car for me, or could I get to the counter and they could be all gone? (I know anything *could* happen, but does a reservation reliable?). In my 30ish years of travel, this is only the 4th time I've ever rented a car.

Transfers take a bit. So once the money is in my Discover account and Citi shows $0, I’ll close it.

I spent more on parking than the car in HI. That does not seem right. HHV was $52 a day. Thank goodness for the Aspire credit.
