Wasn’t auto-approved for the CSR, which I’m not surprised by considering I wasn’t auto-approved for the CSP...

Status line says 2 weeks.

Do I call, or does that just draw attention to the MDD? Do I just hang tight and hope it all works out on its own?

This is the 2nd card in your MDD? If so, yes, you need to call recon and try to get it approved today.

It's all perspective :rotfl2: my DS recently bought the s10...I LOVE that thing...what a fantastic camera !

There's absolutely nothing wrong with the S10+ - it's absolutely my perspective, sort of like wanting new clothes when I have a closet full of stuff, some new with tags, but still will go shopping.....but....as I've learned with cameras, a lot of success comes with quantity of shots taken and ability. I rely heavily on quantity, lol. View from my deck this morning.

how pretty

DH has an offer for Amex personal gold 75k MR for 5k spend in 3 months. We have no MRs. I’m concerned about the level of spend but otherwise is it worth it? What do I use MRs for? Transfer partners?

The last of my Sam's Club offers credited this morning. Hopefully they will have something new and delicious next week! My other offers are tax related or paint.

There may have been but I have never seen an offer that high. I turned mine in for Home Depot gift cards when they were 20% off on the website, or 8000mr's got me $100 HD gift card.

I'll do the same if they bring the offer around again.

And, the Rose card is back also.

I would also say reconning is the BEST bet, BUT I do know of DPs where people just let it ride and ended up days later with a successful MDD :D

In case anyone else did the Home Chef deal, I found out today that they have awesome customer service. My order delivery was expected to arrive on Tuesday but the weather had other plans and so did FedEx. My order finally arrived today with my box taped together and the filet mignon and shrimp spoiled. A quick call to Home Chef and the rep not only refunded the charge but, also, issued me a credit in that same amount for future purchases. Home Chef for the win! They may actually keep me as a monthly customer thanks to their customer service.

If I book through Costco and use Avis Preferred, I can go straight to the parking lot And skip the ridiculous MCO counter? Is the same true with Budget FastBreak? Alamo is unavailable else I would use them.

I was a little upset with Fedex also this week with my Chewy order. Ordered Monday and didn't get it until Friday. Yes, there was a storm. But - the first part of my order was in my neighborhood fedex depot on Wednesday, and set there until Friday, when 1st and 2nd parts were delivered together. My area including the depot had snow but not big snow like the northern and western sections. It's irritating to know that your stuff is 10 miles away for 4 days.

Finally cancelled my Biz Plat after getting no retention offers. I only had one recurring monthly charge on the card and used it mainly to redeem offers or statement credits, so I can't blame them for not offering any retention. I tried first to cancel via chat, but they made me call in to do it over the phone. I'm not sure how to destroy the card like they said to do in their spiel though. Hopefully Chase remains an option for us because I'm sure the AMEX pop up will be inevitable now. I just couldn't eat an almost $600 AF for a card that I don't use much...

It can become an ice scraper.

I mentioned recently that I’m either going to get a CIC or CIU in mid-February. I’m leaning towards the CIC, since I can get some Amazon GCs at Staples to work off some of the minimum spend.
Question - I already have one CIC. I PC’ed it from a CIP in august 2020. That won’t keep me from getting another CIC and getting the SUB, correct?

(also as I’m typing this I’m having serious deja vu- so apologies if I’ve asked this before and my mush of a brain has totally forgotten what the answer was!)
