Ok so maybe I didn't entirely save the potatoes. They tasted great but it was a twice baked potato casserole and I pre baked the potatoes yesterday for half a recipe (only 3 of us). DH used the full amount of the other ingredients including 2 sticks of butter so there were puddles of butter on top after it baked.

I think I'm crazy. On a whim, I just booked an Airbnb in Florida for a month. It's about a 10 hour drive (which I can usually do in a day) but I am taking my animals (a month is too long for me to leave them), so I will stop somewhere overnight. Anyone ever travel with a dog and a cat? During a pandemic? My DDs informed me that I have gone off the deep end, but I am just so stir crazy right now.

I haven't travelled during the pandemic, but I have traveled with pets (we have 3 dogs and a cat). We like to stay at KOAs. They have pet-friendly cabins and I usually already have points from our actual camping trips. Plus plenty of places to walk the dogs so we're not stuck in a tiny strip of grass along the side of the road.

I there a limit on how many apple gift cards you can get? With a free target GC, I mean. So can I order 4 $100 cards and get 4 $20 target cards?

I ordered 10 - in 10 separate orders, one right after the other. I received 4 of the Apple gift cards after about 3 hours, and I received the 4 Target gift cards about an hour. The remaining 6 orders trickled in over the next 24-36 hours.

Has anyone gotten a retention offer from AMEX through Chat? AF just posted on Marriott Biz. Since it is on DH's account, would be good if I can get something through chat if possible.

I got 50,000 membership rewards points on my Plat last week. Chat said the points would take a few weeks to show up but they were in my account the next day.

Chat being added as an option for retention with Amex is the best for reluctant P2’s! I was my husband and was convinced to keep personal gold once offered 20k to keep card opened. This was just last month. So definitely worth a shot to try.

Bought 3 $100 Apple GCs with 3 $20 Target GCs. Used them to purchase $399 iPhone SE this morning from Apple. Apple gave me a $50 GC for my purchase. (I only used $300 in Apple GCs because I wasn't sure if the $50 off deal from Apple would work if I paid 100% in GCs). Effective price $399-60-50= 289 and I'm done Christmas shopping.

I've never been very good at maximizing the 5% CF categories, so that's something I'm trying to do better with. I have been paying for a lot of things through paypal and Walmart with my CF to max it out this quarter. My tracker isn't moving though. Is that only updated when your statement comes out or something?



I know things are tracking because my extra points are showing when I look at the detail.


I can go through and add everything up, but then I don't know what the point of the tracker is. Hopefully I just don't have something set up right.
