Did you have any returns or offers post that would have reduced your balance? AmEx would have given you credit towards the spend for the full amount.just logged into my Amex account and ummm... I have 103.000 MR’s. MSR is close but not THAT close so I’m REALLY surprised that they’ve posted already. Is that typical of AMEX to post bonus prior to finishing MSR? Cuz I ain’t mad

I did have a few returns after some online Black Friday shopping. Hmm.. I would have to math it out though. I didn’t think I was that close, but apparently I was.Did you have any returns or offers post that would have reduced your balance? According to Dr. Google (who knows all) red yeast rice might have the same side effects as a statin. Do you just take it before a blood test to skew the numbers or do you actually use it?I'm pretty sure any link between eggs eaten and cholesterol has been disproven. The current thought is 1 a day is fine.
My doctor is a big statin pusher also and even starts mentioning it if my cholesterol creeps over 200 at all. I have resorted to red yeast rice to keep it down, works well for me. My cholesterol is very correlated with my weight also.
We did that deal on Black Friday! We won’t need anymore for awhile
I believe things like your Saks and airline purchase would have counted even though you get refunds for them. You’ll just want to make sure you make up that spend.I did have a few returns after some online Black Friday shopping. Hmm.. I would have to math it out though. My unsolicited advice, make sure you don’t get too many newborn diapers or clothes (unless you have a preemie). Babies grow like weeds and will outgrow them quickly. We did that deal on Black Friday! We won’t need anymore for awhile
Alright that’s interesting. For sure I’ll keep up my spend. I’m hoping to keep my relationship with AMEX on friendly termsI believe things like your Saks and airline purchase would have counted even though you get refunds for them. You’ll just want to make sure you make up that spend.
I am trying to slow my Chase roll and got the popup with Amex (after only 1 stinking card) so I thought I would try for something else. I applied for the Capitol One venture last week and got we are reviewing your application every time I called. So today I get a letter about verification of MY income. Has anyone had this before? I put unemployed and total household income, same as I do on all of my Chase apps as a SAHM. It is saying I can submit pay stubs, letter of employment, divorce decree, Tax return (though it says Joint tax return will be insufficient if it doesn't show personal income), or bank statements. Do you think just doing bank statements will count? It definitely won't show the income I put down because we split his direct deposits into 3 different accounts. Anyone else a SAHParent and have experience with Capitol One?
They do this deal all of the time! Or buy 2 boxes get $10/$15 ect. Only buying diapera during these sales and thenstocking up is how we got our free nest wifi this year haha Highly recommend!
I applied for a Capital One Venture credit card a few weeks ago and was instantly denied. I am also a stay at home mom and put my husband’s income down as household income. This is the first time I have been denied a credit card. (My score is in the 800’s, never carry a balance, excellent age of credit etc.). The crazy thing is my husband with a similar score and same credit stats was sent a mailer for the same card the following week. He applied and was approved. The only thing that is different is that I don’t have my own income as a SAHM so maybe that was why I was denied? I found it very strange.
We didn’t buy any newborn clothes or diapers. We got all 3-6 month onesies. The diapers we got one box of size 1 and three boxes of size 2.My unsolicited advice, make sure you don’t get too many newborn diapers or clothes (unless you have a preemie). Babies grow like weeds and will outgrow them quickly.
There is a functional health doctor at the Cleveland clinic (Mark Hyman) who really recommends it. (He also recommends a lot of supplements I don't take!) No, I don't think it is helpful to just take it to skew the results, I do take it year round. (I get mine at Costco) I haven't had any side effects, my DH is on a statin, and his cholesterol is crazy low, which concerns me. Our bodies have some for a reason.According to Dr. Google (who knows all) red yeast rice might have the same side effects as a statin. You are really treating those little ladies of yours. First the HRH Rock star suite and now two movies over Christmas. Enjoy the time with your family!Look at me...actually spending some money...
I bought tickets to Frozen 2 and Star Wars for 12/23 and 12/26 next week. I typically only see about 2 movies a year so 2 movies in a 4 day span will he a RARE treat for our family. The first one is with my whole family and the second one is with a large portion of my wife’s family. So that’s fun too!!
