You know what's crazy, I can't think of a single FD here - a Google search shows only one not that far away but in a sketchy area of town.

There's a Safeway about a 20 minute walk away, and a WM on the walk back if I take a slightly different route, so that's what I'll probably try out. Unfortunately the WM is also not in a great area, but it's my only option otherwise.

heh, in and out as quickly as u can! :P

Ok Costco cruisers... I got my gift card yesterday. Usually they come with the green sticker saying you need to call to activate, but I don't have that. Is this one activated already?

Wait... can I use a Costco GC to pay my membership dues??

I don't remember activating mine.

Does anyone know anything about Postmates? I found a postmates VISA business card. I think it must be what the employees use. I tried calling the number on the back of the card but no option to speak to a person. It tells me to open a ticket in the career app.

I don’t know if the employee would have just cancelled his card and got a new one or if there could be money on the card that they could lose. I don’t want to spend a lot of time on this But I hate to just toss it in the trash if it’s worth something to the person who lost it. I’d like to get it back to them if that’s the case. It says it’s a visa business prepaid card issued by Metabank. Does anyone have any insight on this? It’s the “prepaid” language that has me worried
I would bet it’s just like the cards I have for Shipt and doordash. No money is loaded onto them and they are easily switched from one person to another. If I have an extra card I can hand it off to someone else and they can attach it to their account. No money is loaded onto them and they are easily switched from one person to another. If I have an extra card I can hand it off to someone else and they can attach it to their account. Once an order is excepted money would be loaded onto the card in the amount of the order. You can probably just toss it.

Interesting, I have this offer, but mine says the flight must originate in BOS, RDU or SEA!
Now that I think about it, I bet I have one of each. I thought it was weird I was able to load the same offer on to two cards. I will have to go back and look at the small print.

Do the points for skipping housekeeping post with your stay points for Marriott, or separately?

If they are actually in my stay points this would be the first time ever I got them without having to ask

Also I can't remember, can you move credit limit from biz cards to personal with Chase? I feel like it's no.

Looking at my recent stays where I chose it, it looks like it posted as extra on the stay total.

Any thoughts on whether you stand a better chance of getting a room upgrade with Hilton/Diamond status if you check in earlier in the day? Right now my flight doesn't arrive until 7 pm which means I guess we'll be to the hotel at 8 pm but I took an earlier flight and arrive at noon.

And my day gets better. After spending 38 minutes on hold with Sams, and getting hung up on, and another hour and 10 minutes with a supervisor, they won't do anything unless I file a police report!!!! They reshipped the one $500 card since the package is lost, but since the other one is delivered, even though they didn't put the cards in it, I have to go to the police in order for them to do anything. We don't even have a police department, only a county sheriff. I am so mad!

Can you dispute the charge with your CC company?

Dispute the charge with your credit card company. It’s very easy and they will handle everything. Give them a call and explain and they will tell you what to do.

I have no idea at this point. It's a part of the order. Has anyone disputed an item before?

I have with Chase. Very easy process. Basically just went online and said whatever the problem was and there were no questions asked and they refunded me. I received a couple follow up letters about it but on both occasions they never asked me anything. One of them was for an amount above $100, I can't remember what the second one was for though.

Good Tuesday morning everyone!
My good...
Auto approved for Citi AA Biz #2 with a ridiculous credit line.

My not so good...
After over 2 months, still no 80K SkyMiles from my AMEX
No 80k pending yet on my CIP when spend was met 6/29 (has anyone ever NOT gotten their bonus??)
Ordered $1275 in Disney cards from Sams, says order was delivered. The envelope (and the invoice) had 1 $50 card!!!

Oh wow and they charged your card the $1275

Of course the other fun part of this $1233 charge from Sams, if I dispute, is that it's what put me over my MSR and they gave me the points yesterday. That will surely look suspicious.

This is Barclays dispute info, not even sure what to send them in this case? Especially since I only am missing part of the order?

I want to dispute a transaction on my account. What should I do?
Here are the recommended steps to initiate a dispute.
Step 1: Double Check your purchase
• If you do not recognize: In many cases we find the merchant name may look a little different or that the transaction was made by an authorized user. In some cases checking with an authorized; checking your receipt, or contacting the merchant can help
• Check your receipt and any documents you have to review the return policy; this information is helpful to send in with your dispute details.
Step 2: It is not required but it is recommended that you contact the merchant first to attempt to resolve. We often find this is a quick and easy way to resolve the issue.
Step 3: If you still need to dispute your purchase, please send details of your dispute and all supporting documentation to Card Services, Fax: 866-390-3437 or mail to P.O. Box 8802, Wilmington, DE 19899-8802. If this is not an option for you, call us at the number listed on the back of your card.
• In most cases, we must be notified within 60 days of the date in which the charge appeared on your billing statement.
• Once a case has been opened for you, it will be referred to a specialist who will review your case to make sure that we have everything necessary to request credit on your behalf. The specialist may contact you for additional information if needed. After we contact the merchant's bank, we may issue a provisional credit to your account. We will notify you of the outcome of the dispute once we have fully investigated your case and received
Step 4: Continue to make payments on your account. Finance charges are not assessed on the disputed portion of your balance during the investigation period. However, if the dispute is not resolved in your favor, the transaction will be subject to the terms and conditions of your Cardmember Agreement including any applicable finance charges and fees. You are not required to make a payment on the portion of your balance that is in dispute while the purchase is in dispute status.
Step 5: Generally, disputes are resolved quickly, but it may take several weeks depending on the complexity of the case. We will notify you once we have completed our investigation, and inform you of how your case was resolved.
