sometime April 2020...maybe 11-18? or possible early December dates too. I cleared cookies, used two different browsers- different account logins, filtered by name...nothing.I wonder what's going on.... why can I get NO results when you guys are seeing them?
Dec 5-9 I saw all the resorts - RPR was sold out though. April 11-18 I see them all. Maybe try again? I also see them listed as featured hotels so I didn't have to do the filter to see them.

wow. I'm going to try again on a different device too. I have no idea whats going on but I'm so happy that they're still there.... can you tell me the points cost on Cabana Bay for 11-18? if not no big deal just curious what it's showing
ETA (#$%*!!!+<#@!!!) I rechecked... my featured hotels are a few crap properties on Idrive- when I try to filter by name, it auto fills whatever UNI onsite hotel I'm looking for,but then I get the red bar with 'no results' I'm beyond frustrated right now. UGH no variation on any searches are working. I had wondered if CIP search vs CSR search made a difference....

EDITED OUT BECAUSE I'M NOT QUOTING SUCH DISRESPECTFUL LANGUAGE

Say what you will about Disney, but it definitely helped prepare my family for international travel. It also ruin Shibuya crossing for us.

After leaving Magic Kingdom after fireworks... Shibuya crossing is child's play.
I don't know why people have to hate on Disney...and why the purge caused this person to express that opinion.

I had to go look up what Shibuya crossing was...looks like a normal day in the Peter Pan/Small World Corridor to me, haha!

Ok, I looked into the Amex Gold, BoA, and Capital One Venture card this morning. Right now, it's looking like the best option for me currently is Capital One since it's AF waived the first year, GE credit, and I see that their miles can be instantly transferred to Jetblue. Jetblue is our preferred carrier to MCO, and I can usually get there on 10k miles per person, so I can potentially get a couple round trips to MCO on just the signup bonus! We are planning another trip to Orlando over the winter, and I don't have a plan lined up for airfare for that yet, so this would be helpful.

Is there anything I need to know before applying to Capital One? I haven't had a personal card since December, not sure how much that matters with them since I think maybe they're inquiry sensitive too?
My DH has a Cap One. I've heard they pull all three credit bureaus. We haven't had any problems with them. Good luck!

I would think if you booked a type on Prepaid rate (advanced purchase) it would work as the charge would be done right away (if hotel has it configured properly). As far as calling the hotel directly I would say that it is possible but all hotels went to a new CC authorization method recently that is supposed to all be more or less automated and I don't think it charges the card until day of arrival but obviously worth a phone call to try and see.

Yeah, unfortunately I can't do the advance purchase since it's a work trip and I don't know if it might get canceled or not :headache: But thanks!

Happy Monday!! And a week with a day off in it, thank goodness!
So today is the day I am supposed to hear back from Ginger on my missing Delta 80k miles, that are still NOT in my account. Wanna take some bets on this?

On my CIP, I have hit the MSR, 4975 posted on the cut statement Friday. A $33 purchase hit Saturday. It only shows the 33 points to be posted on the next statement, should it be showing the bonus miles already to show on the next statement?

Thanks!
Make sure you aren't counting the AF in your figures.

Hoping Ginger brings you good news soon!

We got back late last night from our camping road trip. We drove about 13 hrs to my husband's family property in very southern Oregon. It is one of the most beautiful places. Miles away from anything up in the high desert hills. I just couldn't get over the beauty of it all. We camped 4 nights with his Grandparents, Mom, Sister and many Aunts and Uncles who came to see us. It was really a great time but I'm happy to be home. That's a long drive for a camping trip 😆 413432

Yeah, the Bayshore (SF) location started insisting on cash/debit for GCs, among other arbitrary policies, late last year. The San Bruno store still accepts credit cards for third-party GCs, but not VGCs/MCGCs. About a month ago, San Bruno moved their GC rack past checkout right next to the Exit but stopped doing GC transactions at the regular checkout, and will sell GCs only at customer service. I haven’t had much problem at customer service though; I’ve only been asked to see the card and ID once, and mostly they don’t even check (I was trying to finish off the Amex Offer on both my and DW’s cards). But I also keep the purchases low, $100 or $200 at a time.

Went back to Lowe's, DH ended up buying a boatload of stuff. Some was on sale, plus he had a 10% off coupon. I bought 3 $50 Disney GCs with credit and the cashier didn't say anything. Was tempted to go and buy more, but didn't want to push my luck.

So lessons learned - don't leave it to the last day. And don't try to do the whole amount at Lowe's in nonaffluent areas of the Bay Area, lol.

These people really irritate me. Especially the person that said adults that like Disney are weird and obese people from Kansas. That’s not me. Well maybe I’ll a little weird lol

In churning news. When we got home the Hilton Biz I applied for was here. This was the one I thought I was applying for myself but was accidentally logged into DHs account at the time. Anyway it came in his name and the card has his name first and then mine. So I'm assuming its ok just to leave it as his card since it did come in his name.

I thought I'd heard that before haha. Oh well. I thought about looking at their business cards but I think I've seen multiple times that their business cards do actually report to your personal credit report. So I may as well just go for the personal card I actually want.

Looks like I am taking a quick girls trip to Boston. Any Marriott or Hilton recommendations for a hotel with a free HH use my Platinum or Diamond status or must dos for 2 ladies? Best place for lobster?

Thanks! Called and got the 30 day version. Will try and patiently wait until Monday!

Waited patiently, called the line and heard “You’ve been approved! Your new card will arrive within 10 business days.” Interesting that it couldn’t be instantly approved Friday night but needed no further info from me, but not complaining!

For the lobster, are you looking for a place downtown or will you have a car and be able to venture outside the city?

SOOOO frustrated with the MB situation. I've been trying since they released these upgraded bands to get ours ordered for our Aug trip. Never anything all 6 of us wanted and I wasn't able to split the order. Now, we only have 4 days left and since I don't want a bunch of gray bands, I'm trying to just choose colors (seems so boring now :( ) but I cannot even get the website to come up at all :badpc: :furious:
