I have but I haven't tried lately. Last couple times I looked they hadn't refreshed the selection and there wasn't anything I was interested in. I think I let the last 2 just expire. Are you getting an error at some point?

I just keep getting the almost free kindle unlimited subscriptions.

For Disneyland, would you fly out of SNA (closer, smaller airport), or LAX for the lounge access (but further, crazier)?

Has anyone actually been able to download the free kindle books with IHG Platinum Status? There's a book I'd really like that's not at any local libraries...

I get an offer every quarter and it works for me. Limited selection so I’ve skipped at least once.

@Albort I redeemed UR points and stayed at HIbernation Station in West Yellowstone for 2 nights. It was different....little cabins. The other three nights we were at the Holiday Inn (which was fine).

West Yellowstone will probably have more affordable options than Jackson of where you want to stay. Last time I looked at Jackson I was a little overwhelmed by all the additional fees (parking etc). Make sure if you are looking at booking through UR's that wherever you are staying is not way outside of town (either Jackson or West Yellowstone). You will be driving enough as it is you don't want to add even more to it.

This is a really short trip, right? In that case I should use SNA to save transit time.

Check your Chase offers for Lowes. I am not sure if these are new but they are new to me. This morning I had 10% off up to $13 credit on my CSR, IHG, and Hyatt cards. (Pretty much the worst cards to get the offer on but oh well). They have worked in the past on gift cards.

LAX is fairly mild in the day time, it does get pretty intense at night though. LAX also probably will be cheaper to fly into in terms of cost vs SNA.
both have Disneyland express shuttles running every hour.

yeah, i saw a town just around the other side with reasonable prices. might stay there first before going into Teton NP.
im a huge cave lover. i found some are located by Bear Lake. so that will delay my trip into yellowstone more so that i can hit old faithful correctly on monday! lol
The holiday inn u were at, u just drove back and forth from there? yikes, $360 a night, but it seems like the average price for all the hotels there. think ill book the remaining nights there after my Old Faithful inn stay

Hope you are all well. These last couple of weeks of school are insane so I am not nearly caught up with this thread (loving that news thread on DisChurners). Had a couple of questions though:

1. How does the 24 month rule work as far as SUBs. For example if P2 got her SW bonuses in 3/5/18 does she have to wait until 3/5/20 to apply or can she apply before as long as the bonus doesn't post until 3/5/20?

2. My dad is interested in dipping his toes into the churning waters and recently got the Citi biz AA with the 70k. I told him he should get the Barclays Aviator as well but he was on his way out the door and said he would do it the next day. He was denied for the Aviator. Is it because he didn't apply the same day? Should he call recon?

Sigh, Chase really doesn't need me I guess. I get nothing. Well, I take that back, I forgot I was going to mention that Rite Aid is back for anyone that got the 10% off before check on that. I believe it was @gottalovepluto mentioned it on the GC thread. I did get my 5% at Rite Aid for a max of $2 back on one card today.... after we actually spent money at RiteAid on a prescription... so folks who get targeted for the higher ones may have it back too.

New round of offers out for Chase cards that bypass the 5/24 rule out today. Chatter from people never targeted getting fixed APR offers and being approved at well past 5/24. There was a theory floating out there that folks with merged biz/personal logins don't get targeted but several mentions of seeing it in those type of accounts today.

Yeah, I think it was a gimmick to get people to download and use the app by putting it in there. But the selection size doesn't get any bigger and every so often they change up the titles, but it wasn't every quarter the last time I was in it. I actually picked a book that I had already downloaded, and evidently still hadn't read. There wasn't anything else so I haven't been back.

@Albort we stayed at the Old Faithful Snow Lodge on our winter 2017 trip to Yellowstone with Austin Adventures and really enjoyed our stay. The location certainly can't be beat!! Glad you were able to snag a night there. We entered the park through West Yellowstone but didn't stay there, so no advice to offer there.
