I Love Breakfast food...where do I go?

I noticed a few people recommended these as well, but we really enjoyed Boma's buffet, Grand Floridian Cafe, and Kona Cafe for breakfast. Kouzzina also has a couple of interesting options.

We enjoy breakfast at Tusker House, 1900 Park Fare, Cape May and Kouzzina.

The Feta, Tomato, and Spinach scramble eggs at Kouzzina were SO good.

WOW - some stuff here I have never tried. I actually have been doing the breakfast at the Galley at the Yacht Club. Though buffet they will make your eggs, pancakes and waffles any way you want them and for me that's awesome!!

I hate just plan old scrambled eggs (which most buffets do) and I am not into paying for characters for breakfast (would rather do that at dinner).

I also like Olivia's at OKW for breakfast if I am not doing a buffet.

We LOVED the Tusker House spread! It was delish!!! :cool1: My husband said we MUST do TH every trip or I wasn't allowed to book another vacation in Disney. They have so many incredibly different selections- not just sausage and bacon (I'm allergic to pork and I had PLENTY of meat filled items to eat!) Oh and ask them if they have turkey bacon available from the kitchen. OMG. This wasn't just regular bacon. The taste was really unmatched! They have the "kids favorites" with the eggs, mickey waffles and tater tots along with a huge cart of pastries.

We have done the character breakfast buffets (Tusker House, Ohanas, Crystal Palace, Akershus) and to be honest, the best thing about it, IMHO, is the character interaction. Of those, I think Ohanas had the best interaction, and CP had the best food. But I wouldn't say the food was really that great. Bomas was good, but not as good/unusual as the dinner buffet.

The best breakfast that we have had, as a PP mentioned, is WPE. That french toast....OMG!!!!

Still haven't tried Kona's for breakfast, tho.....

Boma is my absolute favorite breakfast at WDW and maybe my favorite breakfast anywhere!

We tried Kona on our last trip and it was delicious. The blueberry pancakes were fantastic!

Kouzzina and Captain's Grill are also good.

The breakfast I miss most was at Tony's in the MK. My mom and I had breakfast there about 10 years ago and it was amazing! They brought out a warm cinnamon roll for the table to share and then we had the best french toast with delicious fresh berries. We still talk about it!

Love, love, LOVE the breakfast at Tusker House! I'm neutral when it comes to breakfast. I'd much rather have a cheeseburger!!! :cool1: BUT, TH really impressed me last time. The setting, the characters, the food. YUM! They had an amazing quiche there that I think I ate 4 pieces of. :scared1: (I can't believe I just admitted that...)

CP breakfast is good, but like someone else said, kind of ordinary- nothing special. Kona's breakfast menu also appeals to me.

I have to say that Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day too! Never met an egg I didn't like!:goodvibes With that being said, we have eaten at most ALL Disney breakfast spots. Here are my favorites and why:

Ohana - Love the characters and the family style dining is nice. The eggs are really good here as well as the waffles. They told me they have a special recipe for their eggs here. They are good! The yummy bread, fresh fruit and great juice make this a great breakfast! This place can be crowded at peak times and weekends.

Kona - This is a great place for breakfast and is a nice option for those who do not like buffets. Everything we have ever ordered here has been really good. The macadamia nut butter is fantastic!! The Kona coffee is a plus too. I am not a real fan of the Tonga Toast as it is too sweet for my taste, but I know others really like it. I much prefer the pancakes with the macadamia nut butter. :)

Boma - Variety of unique options. Good eggs and great juice! Over all good breakfast. Fantastic, relaxed setting for breakfast at AKL.

Crystal Palace - Good eggs to order at the buffet is a bonus! Good corn beef hash and PUFFED FRENCH TOAST!!! Great character interaction and EARLY PARK ENTRY!!!

Tusker House - Overall good variety, similar to Boma, but not as extensive. Great waffles and great characters in safari gear! Love the juice here too, its so good! EARLY ENTRY into the park is a bonus here too. The only thing here is that it can be busy and a wait to get in at times if there are tour groups or if its at peak times.

Park Fare - Lobster eggs benedict are really good. :goodvibes I love the characters here also, they are different from most other places. The Mad Hatter, Mary Poppins and Alice are a hoot. The only con here would be that it is a small buffet area and can be crowded at times.

We have been to many of the other locations, but the above are our favorites in the order they are listed.

Wow. I love this summary! If it were up to me I'd do a big breakfast every day but DH isn't a breakfast fan like me so I have to narrow it down. Right now I think I want to try Kona and TH.

Thanks. I think you are picking two great ones to start. Next time I would recommend trying Ohana and Crystal Palace and let me know what you think.

Are you going to have an early breakfast at Tusker house? We usually make our ADRs around 8-8:30 so we can get in early and then head out to the left to the safari ride as the park opens. We literally walk right on the ride. Its a great way to start the day.

My favorite for straightforward breakfast food and lots of it is Fort Wilderness. I like Tusker House if I want something a little fancier, and Boma if I really want to splash out. I only eat a big breakfast once per stay, and the buffets provide a lot of bang for the buck.

Now you've gone and made me hungry!

We loved Ohana on our last trip. The food was good and it was nice to sit and have it brought to you instead of buffet style!:thumbsup2

My favorite type of food is breakfast. Love it...kids will eat breakfast food pretty well too.

Im thinking about CP and Kona Cafe. Any experience or other ideas?

DH is a big breakfast eater, but not buffet. If he wants 2 eggs up with toast and potatoes and meat we go to Olivia's at Old Key West, or The Wave at the Contemporary or Kona at the Poly. If we go to Ohana's, we ask the server for two fried eggs for DH, and they always accomodate. He even gets two fried eggs if we go to Boma.
