I love beer

Red wines should "breathe" two minutes for every year between the vintage and the present date.

Unlike wine,,beer should be ICE COLD, choked tightly at the neck, and only allowed to breath between gulps.

Just in anticipation of the bud light I just opened I ended up in shorts and t-shirt.

Here's just the thing...

I have in front of me the following book (from our library, where I work)
The Ultimate Beer Lover's Cookbook by John Schlimm

It has over 400 recipes, from appetizers, main course, veggies, wild game, mixed drinks, punches, shots and milkshakes (and more!) all that have BEER as an ingredient. Almost every page has a quote about BEER.

Anybody for pancakes made with beer?
There are three different recipes for pancakes!

Or would you like a recipe for grilled rabbit? It's an easy one, season rabbit with garlic salt and baste with beer every 10 minutes. Sounds like something for the next GG....

Maybe with enough beer to drink.....

I'm pretty sure that rabbit recipe is a miss print,,,I believe it meant to say,, season the with garlic salt,,and then SELF BASTE with beer every ten minutes. :thumbsup2

Pluto said that?????

OH - Plato. I'm at home today - time for a beer - going to Seneca Lake for a wine tour tomorrow - there are roughly 100 wineries on that lake and a couple of others near by - lots of wine to be had by all! Finger Lakes wineries make some good wine - then on to Wagners for a gourmet restaurant, micro brewery and a winery all in one. Life is good - I won't be driving away from that place - the wife will.

So many wineries, so little time.

Here's a glass raised to all those unsung heroes - the designated drivers of America - the wives! My kids call my husband the designated passenger - I think he should have a shirt that says that!

Beer is okay but I prefer my drink alittle stronger. Something that will put some hair on your chest; a real man's drink like whiskey or scotch.

I would like to give a very special shout out and thanks to Louis Pasteur,(may he rest in peace),

Everyone knows the name Louis Pasteur from grade school, and would answer, if asked, that he is the man who discovered the pasteurization process. And most people will even tell you more specifically that it was the pasteurization of milk he was famous for. But much of his scientific research was done on beer! One of Pasteur’s most famous works is “Etudes sur la Biere” or “Studies Concerning Beer.” So it can be said that the safety of many of our beverages, as well as the prevention of many diseases, is partly thanks to beer.
