I lost my MTV!

All the music channels (everything that MTV is supposed to be) shut down this week in the UK and other countries. All that’s left in these areas is the MTV really RTV (reality television). Not surprising considering how consumption has changed.

yes, they signed off with the same song the signed on with day 1-'video killed the radio star'. very fitting.

Until now. The music video specific channels are gone… the lone channel still on will have little if any music.
