I lost my DDE card. I was getting my stuff ready for going to WDW and I notice that I had last years not this years!!! I think I might have threw the wrong card away. Will have reissue me a new one??? Has anyone else had this happen. I have so much going on with school starting I can't believe I did this..:headache:
Thanks,
Debbie

Hi, I didn't have mine either and they reissued it and I had to pick up a letter at Guest Services at Epcot to use for our week there. Make sure you have ID on you! I've had the DDE since it started and this past August was the first time I actually had to show my driver's license!

Unfortunately the lost card/replacement fee is $25. This info is on the application fee on the AP website.

Make sure you have your DDE confirmation number/code. I doubt they'll automatically give you a replacement card on your say-so alone:confused3 That should be in the WDW computer records. Look up your credit card bill and give them an exact date the charge came through. You will need to prove it was paid for the current year.

I am sure they will replace it. Maybe they will be nice and waive the fee.

Believe me, they have all of your information on a database. All the OP has to do is give them their name and they can look it up. Recently I sent them an email asking a question. To my surprise they called our house and left the response on our answering machine. I didn't give them our home number, they pulled it from their database and on the same day I sent the email. The only thing they will probably do is void out the first card so that it can't be used if it was found, then issue a new card for the remainder of the time left.

OP, let us know how they handle it in case we ever lose ours.

If I remember correctly, when I couldn't find ours last year, I went to Epcot guest services and there was a fee to get a permanent replacement, but she issued us a temporary card for free. We used that all week, with no problems.
