Thankyou everyone for your kind words and support.

The funeral was on Friday. Now its nearly a week later, and it kind of feels as though it is now that its knocking us.
Over the last couple of weeks, the house has always been full of people, the phone hasn't stopped ringing, and we've had the funeral to arrange, but now everyone's stopped coming, and we are trying to get back to normal (well, as normal as possible under the circumstances)
I know it will get better with time. It just all seems so unfair Thats life I suppose

So sorry to hear of your loss Alex. I lost my dad just before Christmas 8 years ago, although in our case it was expected. It does get easier with time although I know it doesn't seem like it right now. But I do still miss him non the less.
