I'm on the unlimited plan and my GF called her friend in Holland last week. She talked for 47 minutes and the bill was $2.82.

my DS has it and its wonderful! Our parents still haven't figured out though that he has a local to us number so it doesn't cost them to call him! They still think its long distance and won't call him!

You don’t happen to have TiVo do you? I would like to get Vonage or something similar, but I’m afraid it will mess up my TiVo. I have a Series 1 and a Series 2 if that helps.

We just recently go it an I can't wait for the decrease in the bill.
My last local/long distance bill was $120.
Even with a slight echo sometimes it's worth it to me.

No Tivo, but a Comcast DVR. No problems at all.

I hardly have any audio problems. About 98 percent of the time it's just as good as a regular phone.

No TIVO but I used to use a RePlayTV (TIVO competitor) which has internet access for the program guide. AFAIK, a series 1 TIVO is phone only for program guide while a series 2 can use the internet.

I don't know if Vonage is 100 percent compatible with a series 1 TIVO.

We have Directv DVR and Vonage hardwired to the house. Our DVR hasn't made a call in 239 days, I checked with Directv who said it's not a problem as long as we're not trying to use pay-per-view which we're not.
