So sorry for the delay-my online service wasn't working yesterday. Ok here we go. We arrived at Islands early
and went straight for the Hulk. I got a little frightened as it passed me overhead. I got even more frightened as I got upstairs where you are seated. I sat "in the middle in the center" even though my son kept yelling other instructions to the ride attendant. He stopped when I threatened to walk. I got nervous doing my seatbelt and my kids laughed at me. I stopped laughing when the attendant checked it and it was open
. What a beginning! I loved the fast take-off! So cool. I even liked seeing my husband below on the bridge. Hello there chicken! The cobra rolls were my favorite. I came off swaying and the kids deserted me. So I crawled along the wall by myself talking to myself. I went on again because I felt my fear had prevented me from enjoying it. I like this ride and would do it again but not twice in a row. Our next stop was Dr.Doom . Can you hear me screaming? I felt it was the same knot I get in my stomach as you look out over the park on Tower of Terror BUT it doesn't end. Although I would do it again. Then we headed for Spiderman. This is such an awesome ride-especially with FOTL. The effects are unbelievable. The end is a killer. We rode Jurassic Park next and I really like this one. I watch the movies all the time and I feel like I'm really there. The end drop is quite steep but refreshing. My kids did Flying Unicorn then we went into the Sinbad show. It is really funny and I remember the guy from Wild West Stunt Show. He made a fool of me one day during his show-pretty funny. We ate at the burger place by Jurassic Park. It is really pretty like the movie and has a fix-ins bar. I bought a caesar salad across from it inside with me. Delicious! A really nice meal in such great surroundings. We moved on to Poseidon's Fury. I love when you walk through the water. I am now proud to say I then rode the two dragons. We boarded the blue first and I really don't like my feet dangling. Holy terror! I have never and will never again! Spin and spin and die ten times over! But I got on the red right after. I will not be called chicken again by Mr. PS2. It was ok-very fast and lots of weightless moments. But to say I was dizzier than the Hulk is putting it mildly.I didn't think that was possible. We left then . I think I had enough rides for the day and we still had 3 days left on the passes. Later, we ate at Mama Della's Restaurant. We had heard from our new friends that it wasn't great, but we decided to see for ourself. Let's just say for those of us have eaten in Little Italy in Manhattan and have Italian mother-in-laws it stunk. The portions are not huge and we were disappointed. Never going there again. Trattoria del Porto is much better. I'll tell you about that tomorrow. We borrowed the movie How to Lose a Guy in 10 days and relaxed in the room for the rest of the evening. I did go for cookies and tea though. You know me never miss an offering. Tomorrow the mummy again and we will hit the water rides. Please join us for a great day.
