I like G-love and the special sauce

So...G-love took some heat today on the podcast...but, I like G-love and the specail sauce...it certainly has a funk feel to it. Anyone else out there listen to them? I had not heard of the other group that is with them though.

Anyway, just wanted to let people know that they are not some made up band

I agree! While G love is good.. Panda dub squad is better! Two years ago my hubby and I went to a reggae variety show and saw Panda dub squad and loved them! I had heard of them before but had never listened to them.. very cool! I was hoping there were other dis-sers who were into music I'm into! (even though I hardly ever post).

I've been to many concerts in my day, and I'd have to say G-Love was in the top three. Amazing musician.

Mo too! I love G Love. It was our go-to warm up the party music in college. I also really enjoyed seeing them live at Voodoo Fest in New Orleans. I think it was 2001 or 2002.

It is, indeed, an easy name to make fun of though.

Haven't listened to the podcast yet, but G Love is just amazing. Definitely some of my favorite concerts back in my college days! He still has tons of space on my iPhone...baby's got sauce.....still...

Our local college radio station (WNTI) plays G-love on occasion. Good sounds. Not familiar with the Pandas. Geez, if the team had problems with those artists, how would they respond to the name of one of our favorite indie bands - Gandalf Murphy and the Slambovian Circus of Dreams. Great band, great people in it and currently touring the UK for our friends across the pond.
