Oooh, they made me SO angry.
They were calling AIDS a "Gay disease." Boy oh boy, did I let them have it! I think I scared half of them to death, but I came down on the so hard they were stunned into silence!
And when I told them that the recent statistics show that young women are the fastest growing group of people to contract the virus, you could just see the fear coming into their eyes - especially the girls. I think I set them straight on this one.

I laid into them, too, but also turned in referrals for the principal to take care of it. My poor Muslim student - he pretended like it didn't bother him, but I don't care, it is still hurtful.
