why does it always rain when I'm waiting for a package?? There is no place outside my house to leave a package in the rain. The only rain we had this past spring came the wk. I was waiting for DCL documents. Now I'm waiting for a Holiday order I placed and my pkg. from DIS ornament exchange. Even mailbox isn't styled to hold a little pkg. Of course because I am at work, it has rained at some point every day for 2 wks. (or at least it seems like every day). UPS man will throw items in a plastic bag and leave them to the mercy of mother nature...oh well, it could be worse..it could be SNOW..

I know just how you feel. We're coming out of a 5-year drought, so I feel guilty complaining about rain, but it just never comes at a convenient time.

Does your UPS man never leave packages with neighbors? Ours does that during bad weather sometimes, and he leaves a note on the front door saying where it is. Since I don't work, he usually brings me all the packages within a 2 house radius.

I have no neighbors...lol....Kermit, I live in such a rural area that the opening of the new grocery store was the social event of the year. Actually I love snow, even though I am considered "esential personnel" and have to drive to work in snow even when there has been a state of emergency declared. I still love to look at my pond and woods right after a snow storm.
