we bought into DVC when we were over in Oct

I have looked into DVC before but didn't know if it was right for us
anyhow we had a hour to spear one morning and when to the desk to have a look
next thing we were at Saratoga springs resort doing the tour , no hard sale but seeing we were from Ireland we had to decide over there if we were going to buy or not
we were ready to sign there and then ,but our guide wouldn't hear of it
he made us go away and think about it for a few days
well after a few days we were back , not once did we think it is not for us
so now we know the secert too

just wish we done it years ago

.....but seeing we were from Ireland we had to decide over there if we were going to buy or not......

We were in the same position but we decided to buy before we ever took a tour so we had to purchase our initial points on the resale market and add on when we were in Florida.

We love DVC and especially Saratoga Springs Resort. We have also used our points for a february half term Interval International exchange to Devon! and a stay at the New York Hotel in Disneyland Paris.

We took two other families with us this year staying at both Saratoga and Beach Club Villas (for the Food and Wine Festiaval) and next year we using our points for the Disney Cruise.

Know what you mean about signing up while there - when we joined back in 1992 that was the only option even if you lived in the US! best decision we have ever made, we have had a wonderful 14 years and still have 35 or so to go.
