Search just will not work today!

Anyway, where would you go for a last breakfast before hitting the road home? We'll probably have one TS left on our dining plan. For obvious reasons, it can't be in the parks.

Thanks!

My favorite breakfast is 1900 Park Fare. Great food! :thumbsup2
It is a must every time we visit.

Have fun deciding.

I really like the Breakfast at Spoodles. They have an All-you-can-eat platter with eggs, bacon, potatos, sausage and french toast. YUM!!

Our vote is for Chef Mickeys - That way we say goodbye to Mickey!

I would say either 1900 park fare for the delicious strawberry soup and made to order omelets OR Chef Mickeys-not for the food, but to say good bye to the big cheese!

My vote goes to Boma.. great breakfast buffet, and an excuse to visit the AKL in the morning while the wildlife is active.

I never thought of that idea! We have ADR's for Boma for dinner.

This is what my girls want. It does seem to be the perfect sendoff breakfast. I was worried because I haven't read great reviews of the food. I like Chef Mickey's when I went there for dinner though.

The 1900 Park Fare sounds like it has the best food. But the kids want to see Mickey. (decisions decisions) I didn't know that the strawberry soup is there for breakfast. I'm am kind of leaning towards 1900 Park Fare.

Then there's Kona to try that world famous Tonga Toast. UGH! I can't decide!!! :headache:

For buffet try 1900PF. For table service, Kona. :earsboy:

Chef Mickey's again. We start our trip this way and what a way to end it with the characters and the delicious food.

If I was in this situation (1 TS remaining to use up), I'd probably do Boma, too. However, if you just wanted a nice sit down breakfast instead of a buffet, Olivia's at OKW does an excellent one. I've also heard good things about breakfast at the Grand Floridian Cafe, although I've never done this one myself.

No matter where we are staying, we always manage to get over to the Kona Cafe for breakfast at least once per trip. Very good sit down breakfast, and the best coffee at WDW.

I love Boma's too! Also, Boatwright's does a wonderful breakfast and you'll love their Banana Stuffed French Toast as well as their Sweet Potato Pancakes. The cast members at Boatwright's are so friendly and helpful too. I just love them.

Kona is our hands down favorite! The portions are huge, and everything is absolutely delish. Best coffee in WDW, IMHO too. Plus, you can't beat the atmosphere of walking across the grounds of the Poly early in the morning--so peaceful and relaxing.

We're going to do 'Ohanas on our last morning to say goodbye to Mickey there. We've only done the dinner meal so breakfast will be new to us. I've been reading some good things about the character breakfast at 'Ohanas so we shall see...!!

I don't know where you are staying, but if it's convenient, you may want to try Whispering Canyon for breakfast. It's a fun way to end a trip, kind of loud, but fun! And there's the all you can eat breakfast to fill up for the trip home. We stayed at the WL, so this was a perfect last meal.

I second O'hanas. We've done that breakfast buffet a few times and love it. Last time they brought out this huge platter with all kinds of breakfast food on it (from pancakes to sausage to eggs to biscuits) and served it family style on the table. There was a fun conga line headed by the characters weaving through the restaurant that the little ones were able to participate in. And what better, more relaxing way to end the trip then to say goodbye to Mickey at a character breakfast and then wander around the Poly...just beautiful!!!

Ohana's for breakfast sounds terrific! And Mickey and Minnie are there? Can you get Tonga Toast there? Hmmmm...it sounds like it's between 1900 PF, Chef Mickey's and Ohana's. Even though we have dinner resservations there the first night. Oh well, there can be worse things to agonize over!

I agree best food-1900 park fair--but you can get good food at home. Take this chance to say good bye to Mickey. Plus decorate your own cupcakes for breakfast--Chef Mickeys Rocks!!!

Ok, I will give you a good review of Chef Mickey's......
We did Chef Mickey's in December with an ADR at 7:50am. The meal is your usual breakfast fare buffet, but of course it's the characters that make this a must do at least once in your life. Chef Goofy was working hard to keep the pastries lined up and ready for munching. Gabby and I filled our plates with a little bit of everything. We had fruits, Mickey Waffles, Minnie's Breakfast Pizza, bacon, eggs, biscuits, and all sorts of goodies. The service was fine and the place was crazy busy, but we did not feel rushed and the characters were awesome and playful as usual. While Gabby didn't care for the Minnie's Breakfast Pizza, I thought that it was a tasty way to consume your bacon, eggs, cheese, and bread all at once. Another hit was the Mickey Waffle covered in strawberries in syrup. The worst part of the meal were the biscuits that were very ho-hum food service fare.

I vote Kona Cafe for your trip. We did Kona Cafe in December with a 10:00am ADR, but arrive a few minutes early and were seated early too. The place was about 3/4 full, but was jammed when we left. Our waitress was Bev. I only remember that because she was awesome. Gabby chose the Steak and Eggs and I tried the Big Kahuna breakfast platter. We both enjoyed a cafe mocha and orange juice with our meal. The cafe mocha was to die for. The restaurant was clean and seemed to be well run. I felt sorry for all the waitresses as it seemed kind of harsh to have them run all over the place just to service the tables because the coffee bar is set up outside of the restaurant floor and even further away from the kitchen. I would hate to work there, but Bev seemed to make it all look easy and offered amazing customer service. The sausage from the Big Kahuna platter and the steak were both awesome. The pancake flour seemed to have a Macadamia nut taste to it and it was really wonderful. The scrambled eggs with cheddar that Gabby had on her steak and eggs plate were just too cheesy....if that is possible. It was the best breakfast of our trip.

I hope this helps. Maggie
