But, I need help choosing one TS. There are 5 of us, me, my parents and my 2 DD's age 12 and 14. We are on the dining plan, and my mom wanted to eat at Capn Jacks, but they don't take reservations, and I was unsure about it anyway. My DM wants to just wing it!!! To me this is out of the question. So here is what we have so far.

O'hana's - dinner
50's Prime Time - dinner
Whispering Canyon - dinner
Planet Hollywood - dinner (I know, but my parents haven't been and it is free)
LeCellier - dinner
Open
Garden Grill - lunch
Crystal Palace - dinner

We will be going to DS on the date that I need help with, and they want seafood. We thought about Cape May Cafe, but I haven't read very good reviews aobut it. Any suggestions? TIA! :hmghost:

If you want really good seafood in that area, you're not going to fare well with only 1 TS credit. The good seafood is all at the signature restaurants, unfortunately. You'd have to go all the way over to Epcot for a great 1 TS seafood meal, and there I'd recommend Coral Reef. Spoodles, on the BoardWalk, has some decent seafood dishes at times, but it isn't a seafood restaurant per se.

If you don't really care how good the seafood is, then sure, do Cape May Cafe.

We enjoy Concourse Steakhouse!
For seafood we really enjoy Coral Reef! Yum!!!!
Lets see there is Boma, Liberty Tree, and all the yummy places in Epcot. France is good!

Anyone know how good the Garden Grill is? If it isn't that great, I could cancel it, go to Coral Reef, and do something non seafood on the date we have free. I would LOVE to go to Boma's, but unfortunately, no one else wants to go.

I can't see going to Epcot just to eat though........seems like it would take up too much time :confused3

Garden Grill is decent, and great fun with the kids. Coral Reef is really several steps above Garden Grill, in terms of food quality, preparation and presentation, as well as service, and of course, is what you were looking for in terms of seafood.
