I cleaned out the kids' rooms today! 2 bags of trash each, 2 containers of toys and just general organization. Phew. It took me about 4 hours. I am feeling a lot better about their rooms now. I wanted to get it all done before our trip. That way, we come home to nice, clean rooms.

I so understand what you are saying about the kids' rooms.. I had done that to our kids' rooms about 2 weeks ago! Gee whiz! Sometimes I just sit down and asked myself.. when did we buy this??? LOL

My DS keeps going into his room and says "why didn't we do this months ago?" I keep saying "because you need to keep it this way, not me!!"

It's time for them to come home already? I thought it was a while yet. Obviously I need a vacation! Of course, the only day so far this winter we've had a prediction for any sn** is on Tuesday - the day we leave! Argh! I'm so ready to be with Mickey.

Most of my clothes went with my parents already, so I'll have plenty of room in my suitcase! I don't know how the airline would feel about it though...

Good for you! Those were always rooms I hated because of all the little junk. ds14 is easier now, however it is a battle sometimes to have him go through clothes!

I just checked now and it looks like (for now anyway) that the sn** will be here on Wednesday. The Weather channel said that we'll have a bit of light sn**/flurries tomorrow. But on Wed we'll have heavier sn** with ice accumulating! Yikes! But, maybe there won't be school and DS will only miss 3 days instead of 4. (I always try to look for a silver lining... Boy, am I a dork or what??)

Silver lining is good... one day less of homework!!!! Positive side to this storm!

I need to check out forecast again..4-7 now and ice on top of it! Hopefully, DH will put his foot down and tell them he isn't traveling to northern IN because they are suppose to get 10-12... But in a moments notice, that could shift and change in a few minutes..
In reading through the warning for our county.. they expect travel to be hazardous.. I wonder if they will call off our basketball game tonight that is out in the middle of corn fields???? I sure don't want to get caught out in this stuff....

No you are not a dork. My eldest got upset that he missed three days of reading last week. And this from the child who hated to read last year. He doesn't want any more white stuff here either. Everyone here is so panicked about it that we had preschool today incase they call it off tomorrow. How funny is that?
