How much is parking in Disneyland and California Adventure? Is it daily? We are getting a 3 day Hopper pass and still haven't decided where to stay. I want to compare the parking price verses the free breakfasts etc..... Help this newbie out PLEASE!!!!

It went up again. How lame. We're going for three days in January...for the first time since our premium APs expired. $36 for parking? No thanks. We'll happily walk from our hotel...haha.

I appreciate the info. That really helps.

You are very welcome!

I know! I think it went up between May and June. When we went in May for my birthday it was $11 and when we came back in June it was $12.

We went in July this year. Although parking was $12, we still didn't mind paying it. We stayed at the Hampton Inn for $100/night (included free hot breakfast and free parking, and also included a $50 Chevron gas card). We had free dinner at the Hampton on one evening because they served free pizza and drinks. Because the Hampton was not walking distance, we drove each day to the parks. Good deal for our family of 4.

We stay at the Anaheim Plaza (it's within walking distance) for $69 a night. And for breakfast we either eat at Denny's on our way to the park, eat cereal in our room (our room has a fridge for milk,) or get pastries at Blue Ribbon Bakery in the park.

I don't know why this makes me so happy. SAving $48 over a four day trip...

Our room at the Tropicana is $87 (via Expedia) so I can just pretend it only costs $75...if I could have gotten the entertainment rate at HoiJo's I could pretend it was only $45 or so. Any money saved in hotels is money I can spend on food or shopping...

We've spent our previous three or four trips at GCH or PP and once I saw we could get two MM's via getawaytoday, I jumped all over staying across the street. We walked all the way over there anyway to get cheap food at McDonald's...we'll see how it goes this trip and we'll report back...

It is worth a lot to be able to just walk back to our room. The idea waiting for a tram, walking to the car, getting in car, driving to hotel, parking car, walking to room after a long day at the parks....

We are Harbor Blvd virgins... we hope to become Harbor Blvd veterans...

Quoting this because I couldn't agree more. :thumbsup2

I'll never stay at a place that i can't use my feet to:

- get to the park early.
- easily take a mid day break.
- happily walk by the ART shuttle at night (or through DTD) back to my room in 5-7 min.

If you buy your park hoppers through AAA you can get free parking. Even without free parking I have sworn never to ride another shuttle again! We found parking at DLR this summer to be very easy and pretty quick. The parking trams were also very nice.

I'd love to stay within walking distance, but it seems like the nicer hotels are farther away. (We are looking for somewhere nice to spend our 20th anniversary) Walking 20 min in the morning is much different than having to walk back at night after a long day at the park.
