I really want to do another cruise but I want to be on the phone the day the Summer 2007 schedule is released. So, does anyone (travel agent??) know when they will be released?

Thanks,
Tina

Last year 2006 came out the first of September. I just kept watching the boards and checking online.

I think September also...If you call DCL, they can give you a fax number for inventory..And you can fax a request for as soon as they open it up..Especially good if you wanted a certain category and/or room... :goodvibes

I just told my DU TA ( SueEllen) what week we wanted and the cabin. On the first day it opened , she got the reservation for us.. It was really easy.

Come back and check the boards. People on here have a great sense of knowing when they will open up the dates and you can be prepared. Good luck.

For some reason, I think they will announce the Summer 2007 schedule on July 16th.... Don't know why......

I know that last year the dates were announced the last week of September (the week AFTER I got off of my cruise), but does anyone know when the 2005 dates were announced in 2004?

They might be a little later this year....."a little birdie" told me that there will probably be one of the ships back in California for the summer of 2007..... :confused3

I wonder if they will have 7 day cruise out of Florida or just the 3 and 4 day cruises like they do this summer. I'd rather do a 7 day out of Florida. I like the ports better. I'll be really disappointed if they only do 3 and 4 day cruises in 2007. :sad2: I guess, I could try for 2006 cruise but I feel like those cruise prices are already out of reach.... SIGH.....

Same here! Our 25th wedding anniversary is in 2007, so we were considering a 7 night (depending on the prices). Maybe we will just go early (in March) for spring break and call it our anniversary trip.

How reliable is your "little birdie"? We're on the June 4th West Coast cruise and I'm considering rebooking onboard, but I would prefer to sail out of California as it would be easier for us - no airfare we just drive down. So, I'm trying to decide if I should book, and then hope they announce more west coast cruises and then move my ressie to a west coast cruise, or if I should just wait until they announce, losing the discount and credit.

Either way, I'd book the cruise while on board. Just for the onboard credit. YOu can always change your reservation and your credit will go with you. I don't think you get any special discounts for booking on board. They weren't offering any when we were sailing May 2004. Discounts are the ones that book early like the day the schedules are released... Also, you can always cancel the cruise by the cancellation day and get your deposit back!

Have fun on the cruise!

I am wondering if I can transfer a rebook to the 2007 panama canal crossing. :wave2:

Another vote for keeping the 7 days out of Florida instead of the 3 and 4 days. I have a request in already. My DS will be graduating and I told him we would do a 7 day again.

We booked our April 24, 2005 cruise in early June of 2004, but the advertisement book we got from the TA gives dates from 2003 - 2005.

My "little birdie" hasn't let me down yet....Yes, there are complains about no 7 nighters out of florida, but you could always fly to California AND SAIL FOR 7 NIGHTS......

They were offering a rebooking discount of 10% and a 200.00 credit when we were on the cruise this past weekend.

Thanks! I guess it can't hurt to book it.

Yes, you could do that. Even though I live in CA I still like the ports in Carribean better. And, Castaway Cay is always a plus...

I'll probably just book with another line if they don't have 7 day cruises for the summer of 2007.

Thanks for keeping us posted!
