I have never bought park hoppers before, I have always gone with "package deals" that include the UPH. So, I will need to buy the 5 day park hopper plus for our November trip. I know how and where to buy them, what I need to know is are the activated when I buy them? Or, do I have to get them activated? If I need to activate them, would it be easier to have it done at the MCO disney store? Thanks for indulging my ignorance

Since park hoppers don't have an expiration date, you can buy them whenever you wish. They don't require an "activation".

Unused days never expire, so just pick them up when you feel like it.

If you want to get the best pricing, try either of these on-line vendors:

Both are reputable dealers--no chance of getting ripped-off.

You can buy them at the Disney Store or at MCO, and you should get the Advance Purchase pricing. I don't believe the advance purchase prices are as low as the vendors listed above.

If you buy them at the gate, you'll pay the highest price out there.
