hi everyone. I just wanted your feed back. technically Monday is when it's a year out for our wedding. Should I wait til then or should I email him today to get the processes going? Everything is pencilled in. It's just a matter of making it official. I don't want to be a pain in the you know where but Im so excited. What have you guys done? TIA!

So our wedding is July 16, 2011 and we were told not to schedule our site visit until a year out. So we had our site visit in August 2011 and then after that we received our contract and made everything official. Are you planning on having a site visit? I would go ahead and contact them and see what their procedures are for getting the contract in writing. It's always better to know from them than to wait not knowing! Good luck!

I would email or maybe even call just to see, but I'm pretty sure they cannot start anything until Monday. When I was going through this process (and before they let people start signing LOAs at 16 months out), my date was originally Aug. 5, 2011, and Aug. 5 2010 fell on a Thursday of this year. My coordinator told me that we would not be able to get the process started until the following Monday, because they couldn't start it on Thursday for whatever reason (don't remember what she said). BUT, ya never know!

We had initially wanted a December wedding then changed our date to June 14, 2010. In October 2009 (8 months out) my consultant sent us the LOA, we were having an Escape at that point. She was just waiting for that date so we could get the contract out. i didn't have to remind her or anything, she sent it to me that day via email.

So, i would try and get the ball rolling so on your actual booking date you will have an LOA sent to you, or at least confirmation of your locations.

Our consultant had us call the day prior to our "window" opening so she could get everything in place. We had our LOA in our email a couple days after that.

Our 8 month mark was May 4th and I called on the the 3rd. All you can do is call and see what they say. If they don't do anything then you can contact them Monday. Good luck!! Im so excited for you I know how anxious I was to get the ball rolling.

Go for it we got ours as you know and didnt ask for it. It shouldn't be an issue!

Thnx ladies. I followed your advice and emailed him earlier today..but I didn't hear anything back. Oh well I guess if I don't get an email back by like late Monday morning I'm calling him. It's just that every time I call him I always get the machine. I guess I just have to practice patience. I just wanna make sure that no convention comes along and byebye goes my reception location. Oh well I'll keep you posted if and when I hear back. Thnx!
