I know I am very silly for being upset but...

But I need cheering up.


For the past year we've been planning our Disney trip (which is quickly approching) and my BF was invited to come!!

AAALL year when we were having a rough time being away from each other we would always say "well we have WDW as our reward for sticking it out!!"
(he's never been before, but he was very excited from my descriptions)

But starting in April things started coming up, first he thought he might be a Residence Advisor for school next year so he'd have to go for training during out trip. He decided not to do that.
Then he got switched onto a new lacrosse team, a really really good team! with a chance of getting to the finals....which just so happened to be during our Disney trip.
(but we decided that we'd keep all our ressies for 5 because if they didn't make it he could still come)
THEN he found out that he has lacrosse tryouts for his university varsity team the week AFTER we get back from WDW...and his work won't give him 3 weeks off.
So I thought, maybe he can come for only 1 week.
But now he's "decided" (with i think a little...actually ALOT of convincing by his mom) that it's too much money and he "can't afford" to take the week off and lose a weeks salary.

So today he told me to cancel his ressies and he's not going.
I begged and pleaded and tried my darndest to convince him otherwise, but he said that there is nothing he can do and that there are too many circumstances (-cough-hismom-cough-)
I just feel SO bad for him because if ANYONE deserves this trip it's him...he has worked SO hard all summer working TWO jobs and now he can't even have 2 weeks of fun!!



So i know, I'm silly for being upset because HELLO!!! I'M GOING TO WDW in just over a month!!!!

But I can't help but be upset, and I'm not as excited anymore.

im sorry to hear that and he seems like a nice guy to have on a trip with yall, but maybe next time or some other time yall can go on a trip togather. but im sure ull have fun down there with out him anyway.

Aww, I know exactly how you feel and it's not silly at all! My friend was going with us and her parents decided (after they both said yes) she couldn't go. It's dissapointing, but you just have to think of how much fun you have, even though it's not fair that other people who deserve to go won't get to.

I'm really sorry and I know how much stuff like that sucks.
You'll still have a good time, and sure you'll miss him, but you'll probably have a chance to go with him later!

i have literally tried so hard that i think he's starting to get annoyed!! lol.
i don't want to bug him any more about it because i know he's really disappointed that he can't come as well.

i will continue to wish on every star/eyelash/dandilion that he can somehow come.


BUT on the bright side we are meeting up with 2 of my friends (from neopets) there!!! I already met up with one of them back in may and she met the girl one this june and we are all meeting up together for a day at MK!
It'll be like a DisMeet...but....a NeoMeet?
SO that's exciting.

I am verry disappointed but I think I'll get over it.
I'll just make him tons of videos and buy him tons of sounvenirs to make up for it.

You are a very mature person for not flipping out on him because it is all out of his control. (I would have flipped shiznit).
