I figured it out.

Go on one trip where you fly 1st class, stay at a Delux with no discounts.....go ALL out.


The, go on another trip, fly coach or drive depending on what is cheaper, stay somewhere with a discount


Look at the savings and Voila.... looks like it cost SOOOO much less, then we can go again

LOL! Yeah right...LOL! Kind of like the old "BUT IT WAS ON SALE!" argument!

Right now my DH is saying I can either get my car or go to Disney in December....I choose BOTH!!! I can ebay my head off and save money and he will never know....what a wonderful surprise huh...plus he already has the week off for vacation anyway...why waste all that free time

I tell DH that I've found this "wonderful" new code or discount. Without it the resort would be XXXX per night. With it, the rate is only XX per night. Well, XX just sounds soooo much better than XXXX. I convince him that it's just "too good a deal to pass up"!
Then we're off to WDW!

We had a great plan to save money. We plan to get APs, taking one trip the last week in August this year and another earlier in August in 2004. In reality this would save us money. However, somehow we have now rationalized an 8 night stay over Christmas in between the "yearly" vacations. But boy will we get our moneys worth of those passes!

We are buying APs in December as well so thats at least ONE more vacation almost totally paid for....we would be crazy not to go! Plus who doesn't need to get away once in a while...I sure know I do and we've never been to WDW at Christmas anyway....OH OH and it would save us money on buying Christmas Presents right????
