I have been waiting for the notorious email for over a year. Lately (last 2 weeks) I have been actually signing into my user account on the DW.com and then saving my quotes for the packages in NOV. I also just ordered a dvd about 3 weeks back. THe email says this...

Im still hoping for the 40% off too! Im just so happy to have gotten one YAY! AND I was actually sitting at my pc when my email popped up that I got a msg from DIsney Destinations. WOOT!!

I called them right away to ask about and get a quote. But it doesn't make sense. From what he gave me, at CBR I'd save $11 a night. But if it is $178 a night, the savings should be triple that shouldnt it? Im a bit confused on this.

Well if it is $178 per night 20% of that is $35.60. Not sure how they are calculating it, but that is how I figured it. Can you call and question the CM's?

Yes exactly what I calculated, I might have to call back. Im in Canada, so the international long distance really bites. lol

I just received the same PIN! I called and was told it was good for room only on selected dates and then the CM asked me if I wanted him to check on a package price. I said sure go ahead so he goes through the whole thing and comes up with $2,553.76 for 7 nights @ POFQ (value season) w/tix and DDP for 2 adults and 2 children! I checked it out online and it was only a savings of less than $300! Sorry, not good enough! I too am waiting for 40% or maybe the 4/3 deal will come back next year!

If you go to the basic DW website...for pricing out packages and such, there is a 'login' link. If you havent created a used ID, I suggest you do. Then when you price out your vacation, you are able to save that quote. This stores teh information for future reference. But apparently, not just for my use, for Disney as well!

Is this another Candians only PIN? Seems all of those so far who have received it are north of the border.

of course- the week of Thanksgiving is blocked out- I knew it would be, I just hold out hope. I know we probably will not get a discount for that week, a girl just has to hope!!! Free dining would be great! If only we could travel the week before or after... oh well, they know they have us!

We got Pop from 10/14-10/20 for $100.41 per night, that's with tax , etc., it was $89.25 before the extras. This was the AAA rate, booked it last week.

It's more likely that you received a pin code discount from ordering the planning DVD, (many have received one after ordering) than from logging in and saving quotes.

We NEVER log into our account, heck... I don't even visit the Disney site very often because it is so much easier to check here at the dis or mousesavers, and I received a 40% off code in my name, and DH received a 40% off code, plus the "Kids Play and Dine for Free" code in his name.

(Last year, while on hold for 25 minutes to book Free Dining, I tried to book on the WDW site and couldn't even remember our log in info. Luckily, a CM finally picked up and I booked over the phone.)

But hey... it can't hurt and I'm all for trying anything that might send a code my way.

I order the DVD EVERY year and I have never received a PIN code. I have done everything that I know possible and yet nothing.
