for surveys but never for WDW resort discounts! In fact, today I received a survey card to discuss my "recent trip in January, February or March of 2003," except I didn't visit during these months. I wonder what list they are getting names off of! Has anyone here gotten survey cards and discount postcards???

We get surveys mailed to our home 2 to 3 weeks after our WDW visit.

We just got 2 WDW discount postcards in mail yesterday.

I received a survey card after our AKL stay in Aug 2001. We also received a postcard for a discount rate that would have affected the dates of our trip in 2001, except we had already gotten a coded discount that was for the same prices (the card arrived about 2 weeks before our trip). Those are the only cards I've ever received. We've been to WDW six times in the last four years and are signed up for offers on the Disney website, but nothing. -HM (wondering why we don't fit the marketing parameters for emails and cards)

Anyone gotten phone calls about "You've WON a trip to Disney World, just call this number and give this code"? I finally gave in and called one to see what it was about. Turns out the one that I called about was for a timeshare presentation. Then you had to pay a low fee of $199, etc. Which of course is a GREAT deal, BUT....how is this WINNING?

I have gotten several survey postcards (after trips to the BWI, Hilton Head Resort, and Poly I think), but I've only gotten 1 postcard rate. Unfortunately, it was for a time period I couldn't go. Bummer!

Postcards? Survey Cards? We didn't get anything!!!:(

We were at WDW in Dec. and the CM stopped us at Epcot to take a survey and we did...but we haven't received anything. And I always read on these posts that people get invitations to come back for a visit, but I haven't gotten anything. :(

Is there a special site we have to visit to sign up or anything? Thanks everyone! ;)

Goofie Ruthie,

I AGREE!!! After I started registering at some stores for my wedding, we received a phone call from someone telling us we won a trip to WDW!!!

We were SO excited, thinking ok, cool, we don't have to pay for our honeymoon!!! But as we kept asking them questions, it turned out to be a time share deal...we were so upset...but it figures, so we just stuck w/ paying for our own honeymoon:p :p :p

No timeshare presentation for me!

I got a survey post card after our trip in Feb, but no discounts:rolleyes: I'm patiently waiting and hoping to get something with a discount.

I've gotten code rates via postcards and emails. To improve your chance of getting code rates keep your member profile at Disney.com updated & keep requesting those vacation videos!

I'm usually the one to request the info and ressies are usually done under my hubby's name so maybe that's the reason we get codes...:earseek:

What a surprise! Hint: Such calls are ALWAYS about timeshare presentations.
If you ever win such a prize from a legitimate contest, I suspect they'll find another way to contact you.
