Yay! The photos are here, the photos are here!
I love your tree. The monorail looks like it barely manages to get around the bottom branches, but it looks great there!
It was funny how your daughters suddenly "grew" in my mind, from the pics in front of the giant icons. They look so tall! Ironic, somehow.
Keep posting! So far I've decided I'm ready to stay in POP -- for the next next trip.
Our 15 yr old doesn't really care where we go. It is really the 13 and 10 yr old that can't wait to go back
When in January are you going to the Poly?
MLK weekend -- the kids here get a very long weekend, and we'll probably take them out early from the half-day that kicks it off. I suppose I ought to review the policy on that ...
I'm hoping it won't be too crowded. I know it will be much better than Spring Break or Christmas vacation. Obviously, Disney World is the reason the school board decided to give us that long of a weekend (1/2 day Thursday, full days Friday and Monday.) As long as everyone else isn't thinking the same thing ...
This trip is coming up so fast!I'm excited
, yes, can you tell? I even checked the weather forecast. Arrival day is now 15 days out, and Accuweather says it'll rain.
<< DD says I need to add in the emote, but I won't be too
even if it rains at Disney World.
LOL -- I had to edit to say I just checked the school calendar. Apparently we're supposed to have a teacher conference that Friday. Hopefully she won't mind too much! In the past, the teachers have always had alternate days set aside for parents like us who take off.If not, DH is staying home this time. I wonder if he would like to attend the parent-teacher conference without me?

Your breakfast looked good!!! I really do enjoy that food court! After 3 days at AKL, I was pretty sick of it and their selection and wished that we had a POP food court lol.
EEKK!! We would have been at DHS that same day if we hadn't gone to Universal!!
I'm not too concerned about DD(yes, 7). Its just that this year she's gone on to a more challenging magnet program, and I like to keep up with anything the teacher may have to say. We'll try to do the alternate scheduling, but if not, DH actually told me tonight he won't mind going without me. He's pretty good on filling me in on stuff, but I would like to go.Your daughter is 7, right? you could probably do an email conference if neither you or her teacher has any concerns. At this point, you would be aware of any of the teacher's concerns...
I've heard that the crowds are busy. We were there the following weekend one year. I don't think the crowds matter if you go to the parks at rope drop and you have a touring plan.
Which parks are you going to? Are you going to get park hoppers? Did your sis do DxDP?
Please do! (It'll probably be one of my and DSis's relatives.)By the way--no flash was used in 99% of my pictures (which explains why some are blurred..) I do not use a flash on dark rides, and one day, I might take pictures of the people who do...![]()
Hi, Debbie! Joining in! Your girls are beautiful. We checked in the day after you left-- 22-27.
Joining in! I can't wait to hear about the rest of your trip.
I'm not too concerned about DD(yes, 7). Its just that this year she's gone on to a more challenging magnet program, and I like to keep up with anything the teacher may have to say. As for touring plans, we'll probably finalize details on the drive down. We'll need to do something besides watch Ratatouille. (DD & I haven't seen it, and we have a Chefs de France ADR at the "right" time for Remy, we hope. DSis is driving, btw, not me, lest anyone think I might be trying to multi-task driving and movie watching.)
We're thinking of MK Friday, EP Saturday (we would have done DHS that day for EMH, but I read Remy is only a Mon-Sat type of rodent, so DHS gets pushed back to Sunday.) We will definitely decide on the must do attractions and head for them at RD. Probably Soarin', TSM, and I'm really not sure in MK. SM is a must for me, but not necessarily everyone else, and the kids get priority. It's odd not having the TP crowd predictions to look at, but at this point, I don't see that we're going to change park days around, so it doesn't make much sense to me to subscribe. DSis did get us hoppers, so that helps. She got the regular DP. More than enough food for all of us, I'm afraid, but we still have more reservations than credits. How does that happen? It's going to be so much fun. Did I mention I was excited?
Please do! (It'll probably be one of my and DSis's relatives.)
Tell me about RnR? Was this your girls' first time on that one? I haven't ever been on an inversion coaster, though that one is almost tempting me.
You are right however he still believes in the magic
Check you out, Debby, with all your updates! You must still be off from school! What a great morning at DHS -- you have already gotten three of the major rides finished, and I bet it wasn't much more than ten in the morning -- if that!
Donald's nephew is awfully cute there in the window, but I bet he is FULL of mischief! You can see it in his eyes!
Did you pick out a new lanyard?
Lovin' the updates! Great pictures... I am especially fond of merchandise photos - it seems that I love to shop while at WDW!
D~
haha- I am still off. I don't ever want to go back...I know I won't mind when we get started again, but that transtion is so hard!
I am terribly home sick for Disney, which is why I keep updating. I figure I can relive the trip and help feed my Disney need.
Joining in! I'm so trying to convince my daughter to do the Tower of Terror, but she own't have it!
Joining In, loving your TR so far, sounds like you had a fabulous time! We are going next December and I am getting ideas!![]()
I agree -- I don't ever want to go back, either, but I know I will feel differently once we are back into the swing of things.
I am terribly homesick for Disney, too, so your updates are helping both of us!
I love the way the flight attendent got everyone's attention -- I bet we could use the same thing (with money, not a wallet, in my class) with the same result.
Watching the Jedi Academy while you enjoyed your coffee sounds like a great way to rest, and I love that you stopped and said hi to Bo on your way out.![]()
