I just "won" tickets at my DD school's silent auction!

I just attended our schools silent auction and won 4 one-day park hoppers and only paid $150! ($37.50 each)

Now I'm wondering if it's best just to use them as is or if I can upgrade them to increase their value. No even sure if they can be upgraded. Does anyone know??

The back of the tickets say "1 DAY PARK HOPPER COMM REL IN FOCUS COMP".

We are going in December and already have tickets attached to magic bands... can I add another set of tickets or will that mess everything up. HELP

Congratulations! That's a really nice auction win!

It looks like they are comp passes, which means that they cannot be upgraded. You can use them as they are to add another park day during your upcoming trip. However, putting them on your MBs when there are already tickets on the bands could cause problems. I would just leave them separate for now. You can always add them to your MBs after the other park tickets have been used up.

If you plan to go later I might save them for next trip after they have fixed the magical band drama, do the tickets expire?

They expire in September 2015. I guess its a reason for another trip

No. You cannot combine them with your other tickets. The only thing you can do is use them the the number of days that they are good for. If they are hoppers, then you can travel between parks on the day that you used thee comp tickets.

If you want just on say the second day use the paper tickets insted of the magic bands. You most likely not be able to use FP! that day but you could park hop and save your non experation tickets.

I would plan one day during my trip to hop and use the paper tickets that day and save the day on my non-expiring tickets for another trip.

Since the tickets expire in 2015 and your non-expiring ones don't expire, I would use the hoppers up this trip. While you may intend to return to WDW prior to 2015, sometimes life gets in the way.

I have won sets of these at 3 different auctions over the past 4 years- when I go to Disney I buy the whole package from them so I just put those tickets on ebay and generally get 400+ for them that I use towards my trip! Since the tickets only cost 1.00 to try to win them I usually put in 5-10.00 worth so its a nice win!

I don't know how much it costs for you to travel to the world, but I'd save them for next year.

Do a quick Halloween trip. One day park hop around the parks, snag a few treats at Food and Wine. The next day go to the Halloween party. Or do it in Nov/Dec with the christmas party. You could spend a day resort hopping for all the holiday decorations before the party.

The magic word on them is "Comp". Those tickets cannot be upgraded or modified in any way.

Sell them on eBay. I won some at an auction and made more by selling them than adding to my trip.

I think I may sell them on eBay and use the $ towards our trip in December. It would be fun to use the $ toward a fun dining experience or show. I would love to sell them to one of my DisFriends but I don't think that is allowed on the DisBoards. Thanks for all of the suggestions and information. I love our little community.

I love the idea from a previous post of combining them with party tickets and using them stand alone. We did that one trip -- just used one day of park hopper tickets and did EMH for both the morning and evening parks of the day (Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios) and then did two days with hotel pool days and then went right at 4 pm for hard ticket party nights at MK. We combined those park days with a day at DD and evening watching fireworks on the beach and the Electrical Water Pageant. And another day we slept in and had the last seating at O'hana character breakfast, walked along the beach over to Grand Floridian, took the boat to Ft. Wilderness, then rode the ponies, walked the paths and did the dinner show there followed by the Chip and Dale campfire sing along and outdoor movie. It was a GREAT trip, because we had time to enjoy the out of the park treats that are often missed.

Just a thought . . .
