My DD went to school in her new outfit. No, big right? Well the t-shirts says AMERICA ROCKS. We live in a small Ohio town nicknamed "Little Mexico" because of all the immigrant workers we have. With the protests going on today I hope people don't think we are trying to make a statement today. We bought it yesterday at Target with a matching skort and she wanted to wear it today. OT: the 4th of July stuff at Target in the girls department is really cute this year.

I actually I think it speaks volumes on all levels. If DD or the school hasn't called to be picked up, then she is probably fine.

Most of the immigrants are stating they want to work here to have better lives for their families, so it must rock to them too?

**Other posters please don't turn this into a debate thread on the political front, for I am not. I am just trying to assure the OP, it might not be as bad as they are thinking.**
