"Whatever it is I think I see, becomes a dole whip float to me."
And I think I'm having hallucinations of Monte Cristo sandwiches...

Here's the thread for reference http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1253888

I would recommend reading it a little at at a time:rotfl2:

So, we'll be there in Oct, here's some dining questions I have now:

Is there a chimichanga cart in DCA still??

What restaurants offer a kids "make your own " pizza??

Also, I don't see any mention of Jamba Juice or Wetzels' Pretzels in DTD. I was thinking a Jamba Juice smoothie would be great to grab on a morning headed into the park. Does it open early enough for that?

There are some coupons for Wetzels Pretzels in the Entertainment Book-even though it's the Phoenix edition, the coupon states "valid at all participating mall locations." Do you think they will accept it?

Yes, chimis are available on Main Street, at the end in the hub. Across from the little coffee stand actually. :)
Not sure about the pizza, sorry.
Jamba Juice is good for a smoothie on your way in, IF you're staying on site, otherwise it's quite the walk. I'm not sure what time they open tho, we rarely stay on site and when we do we aren't in the parks super early.
I'd just ask if they will honor them, the worst they can say is "no". :)

Make your own pizza is always enjoyed by my family at PCH Grill.

Do you happen to remember how big the pizza was? And what kind of toppings do they have available? Did they give your child a chef's hat to wear while assembling the pizza (I think I saw a picture of that in the food thread, but don't know if it was at PCH grill) TIA!

It's a personal sized pizza; they cut it into 4 kid-sized slices. We find it to be very good.

The first two times DS ordered that pizza, he got a chef's hat that you can color. Last time, however, there was no hat, but he got a Jr Artistic Chef sticker. I don't know if it's a change that will last, or if it was just b/c it was late, or they were out of hats that day.

They bring the circle-shape dough out on a Mickey shaped tray/platter/thing. You get a small plastic cup of sauce, and he gets cheese pizzas and they've given him two plastic cups of cheese. The other option is pepperoni, and I don't know if you end up with 4 plastic cups (2 cheese 1 sauce 1 pepperoni) or just 3 (one of each). The kids put the stuff on the dough, the parent takes it over to the counter behind which there's a wood-burning oven, the chef put it into the oven, and the server brings it out, with the identifying wooden stick in it. :)
