What a nice story. I love when people do something as giving as that.
My DH was behind a kid buying a card for his mom and a pack of gum. The cashier told him he didn't have enough for both. He put the gum back and proceded to buy the card. That's when DH gave the kid a dollar to buy the gum as well.
