I just overheard

[Liberty Belle]

part of a conversation between my six year old son and my husband in the other room.

DH: "...because when you're young and lose weight, your skin bounces back and is nice and tight, but when you're older and lose weight, your skin stays more stretched out."

DS: "NEVER lose weight, Dad."


I have no idea where the conversation started.

Make sure you write it in his baby book.
I was given a journal years ago, but I don't journal. Instead I used it to wirte funny thungs my girls said when younger or poems they wrote in school. We have also noted passages from books that move us or make us laugh that we don't want to forget.

One entry is from my now 17 yr old from when she was about 4.....i was on the phone with a friend and said,
"That really gets my goat"
Well her eyes became the size of dinner plates and said,
"You got a goat?!"

Cracks me up every time I read it.
