I just need someone to talk to...

Pixie Dust :wizard: indeed.

Its so tough - its like "walking on water" keeping the faith!

To kydisneyfans - wow! I had no idea (legit jobs on craigslist) - guess I'm really old! Thank you for taking the time to post! I get to agree with you about the hiring before Christmas! DH just got a job! and started Monday! Its been so long since we've had a job with benefits!

:wizard:

My sister owns a staffing company and previously worked for a major company in staffing. Craigslist is a major source for her in finding new hires. As others have said, as long as you use good judgement, you should be fine. Meet in a public place and such. In my sister's case, she has an office so any meetings are done there.

Good luck to the OP. A job search is certainly stressful!

My company has been in business since the 1980's and operates in 6 states. We frequently use Craigslist in addition to Careerbuilder to find applicants. I hire many lower level employees this way.

Good luck on the interviews. My niece has an interview via Skype today. She is in MA and the job is in Tampa.

Sending Pixie Dust and prayers your way. Please update us as we are worried about you. It has been tough for some in Central Kentucky (and I am sure everywhere else). DH works for auto factory here and the past 3 years have been very tough and to continue our Disney vacations we have had to take on extra work to make up the difference. DS girlfriend is at UK and she is having a hard time finding part time work to help out with the cost of college.

Thank you guys so much for all the Pixie Dust. I'm happy to report that it mostly worked. :rotfl2:

The Worst news....I accidentally rear-ended someone at a stoplight on the way to the interview. :confused:All was good, no major damage.

The Bad news....I didn't get the job I really wanted at the dentist office.

The Good/Great news....drumroll.......I DID get the job I interviewed for today!

To be honest with you I've had mixed feelings about it all day. I wanted to be excited about the new job, but I was so worried about my little oops on the way to the interview. Then I found out I didn't get the job I really wanted, BUT I know that in this economy to get a job paying what this job pays is unheard of. I also know that I spent a great deal of time praying about getting a new job, so this must be the right one for me. :littleangel:

Thanks so very very very very much you guys/gals for getting me through this tough couple of days!!! :grouphug:You're the best :cheer2::cheer2:anyone could ask for!!!

Merry Christmas :santa:
