I am so not telling Corey that you said that! I just got it all booked. I decided on POR since I could stay there the whole time without having to move. I am so excited to be able to say that I am going next month! I have always wanted to stay at WDW when the hours were longer and to be able to see AK after dark for a change. It's going to be a different sort of trip. While I will miss having Corey there to share it with, she knows that I need a break and some pixie dust.

I am going to use part of the leftover ticket from our trip last year and then, I am planning to buy an AP when my ticket runs out in the middle of our trip this December. I can't wait!

Just did my first solo trip and adored it. You will have so much fun, I can barely stand it for you!!!!! (btw want to hear more about the t shirt too please)

HA!!! THat would be the best to see while on the ride. Should you bring breathing masks for the other riders or just give them Aqua Net cans to to help get that UMPH hold you need. LOL. I wish I were going with you TNP, I REALLY wish I was. I haven't had a vacation in over a year. I had ONE DAY trip to Tucson, got off the plane, shopped, got back on the plane. Does that count?! I don't think it does. Make sure to check and see if they have any new neat pins involving Stitch.

Tell that boy to get over himself and get on the ride! lol I know, I know, easier said than done. It's my favorite ride. I have plans to ride it a few times during my time at DHS.

As for Jessica pins, no, I haven't bought pins off of DisneyShopping in awhile. The last time I bought pins, it was off of eBay and over a month ago. I have a bunch of traders and I am hoping to do some trading while I am down there. It's too bad that I will miss the pin trading night at the Contemporary by a matter of hours!

I am hopeful that I will get to pin trade in December......fingers crossed that 12/12/08 is a pin trading night!

Lindy - DS has been on ToT twice and HATED it both times. DH & I have no problem with it. DS loves RnRC, so we ride that instead.
Let me know if you want to trade with us for some of the Jessica pins. I'll be happy to pop them in an envelope and send them to you. I think we have 6 different designs.

DearDaisy - I was looking at the '08 Trips thread and it looks like Mike & ConcK might be the only ones we can count on to be around in August. We are doing a few nights of concierge, but at AKL, not the Poly so if we want to see them we will have to arrange something.

That's a sweet offer Elizabeth, but I doubt that I have much that you would want in trade. Keep them for trading at Disney, I am sure you can get something much better for them there.

Also, I have a big update! I don't get to just meet Mike, but it looks like I am going to get to meet Rick too! 2 Mods in one trip! That's so cool!

I saw the shirt you're wanting in the gift shop at the Grand Floridian...uh take a right off the monorail and it's that shop. Eric wants one, but failed to grab it this trip. I'm sure you'll be able to find it at World of Disney...we didn't get there this time.

We had a great one trip this month though...nothing like getting all misty eyed as the DS comes marching down Main Street. It wasn't as relaxed as our January trip, but we still had a great time!

I remember my first chance to the see the world solo...I stood in the Magic Kingdom going..."what to do first?" I was in such awe of it all again.
