HEADLINE NEWS: PARTY OF SIX GOT MARRIED!!!!

Well, okay, it was actually a renewal of vows on their 10th anniversary but it was a full-blown wedding on the beach! She had a gorgeous gorgeous (did I say GORGEOUS) wedding dress and Dub (her special half) wore khakis and a beautiful ocean blue shirt. She has the pictures and will be back this week to post some...
I just have to say, as encouragement to all of us trying to get to GOAL, that seeing Tammy at 140 and knowing she had weighed 236 a year ago was so inspiring to me. I have NO DOUBT that I can make it to goal now, I'm getting back on some type of plan so that the next time I see Tammy we can share clothes! She has the hottest pair of shorts I've ever seen!
For newbies, Tammy lost her weight by watching her portions...she did it sensibly and cut out fast foods and ate Subway's vegetables and grilled meats. I'm sooo proud of her and when she comes back, everyone scream for pictures...she's a little humble about her incredible transformation and we need to make her shout it out!!
And I must say, it was beautiful to finally meet my WISH buddy who has helped me get these pounds off and who continues to encourage me sometimes several times daily to believe in myself and hit goal. If You don't already have a buddy, ask for one!!

I'm so glad you posted this, Tara! I've been thinking about Tammy and Dub all weekend, and praying that wedding went as beautifully as it sounded like it should!

I know they're having a wonderful island second honeymoon now, and I can't wait to see the photos!

Tammy was thrilled that you were going to be able to attend... I know that having you there to share her special day made it much more special.

(Also for the newbies: In addition to being a beautiful ball of energy who has done a great job of inspiring the rest of us as she's taken off darn near 100 pounds, Party of Six and her hubby have 4 daughters, including a set of three year old triplets. Once of these sweet babies is a special needs child. The next time you're feeling overwhelming or a little bit sorry for yourself, think about this terrific friend who finds strength and fun in every single day!!! )

Can't wait to see the pictures from the actual day. She looked so absolutely beautiful in the dress when she posted them a few weeks back. That's so awesome that you were able to be there. Tammy is a definite inspiration around here ... did her husbands eyes when he saw her in the dress ???

Tara that is so sweet of you to say all those nice things. Meeting you was like seeing an old friend again. It was like i knew you forever. And we want tell about that trip to the local ice cream parlor in grayton beach either will we?LOL I do have a few of the pictures that where taken while i was dressing and at the reception to share with you all.

I don't think you saw this one Tara this was one Dub took of me as we where going out to eat the first night we where in Daytona Beach.

I am back on plan after gaining 6 lbs the last two weeks of vacationing and then while we drove to see kenny chensey and then mothers day. LOL So i'm ready now to see that 140 again. Tara it's meant the world to have you there with me and i can't wait to see you at goal in january during the marthon. I tell you what you make it to goal and i'll send you those shorts you liked! DEAL? Kathy i could open you email you sent me yesterday it was empty. I have'nt had a chance to email you back to let you know. Thanks everyone for thinking of us it was just magical and we were'nt even at disney.

Kelly and Ohmom thanks for the support and kind words. It was such a journal and this was the ulitmate reward for loosing the weight for me. I can't wait to see my beach wedding photos the photographer took for us. Tara and i are posed on atleast one shot i remember so i am eager to get those this week i hope. I'll post them here on wish.

Thanks antmaril and sleepy thats so sweet of you. I am not feeling quite as spunky putting on 6 bls of my lost weight during our almost two week vacation. I have Daytona to look forward to in July and then our REAL honeymoon in Sept to ARUBA so i have a lot of things coming to keep me on the slimming track.
