I just LOVE the smell of...

It's so cool when you see that there are other people who like the same weird things you do....like puppy's breath...Things I love to smell are:

baby's heads and feet right after bath time
puppy's breath
Laila moisturizer (from the Norway pavillian in Epcot)
Geir men's cologne (same)
fresh baked cookies
the ocean
the mountains
Thanksgiving and/or Christmas morning (turkey baking in the oven)

My 16 yo DD is sitting here reading these with me and she says: AXE CHOCOLATE COLOGNE!! I'm guessing that's what her BF wears...

Alright, this is beginning to sound like something Mary Poppins should be singing:rotfl2:

Horses.

And fresh-cut grass... that's the smell that I wait all winter for!!

And puppies. Puppies smell like happiness. :thumbsup2

I love the same things as you, Barb. I love how my horses smell. I love puppy breath, and fresh cut grass, and summer rain storms. I love how plumeria smells. They remind me of vacation. I also love how coconut suntan lotion smells. It takes me back to my youth. :goodvibes

lavender soap
freshly bathed grandsons (ages 3 & 2)
brewed coffee
home made cinnamon rolls
the smell when you first get on a cruise ship
sitting by a fire

Chlorine
Baby lotion
Play doh
Permanent markers
libraries (books)
POTC
Scented markers
new Crayola crayons

Dog feet do smell like Fritos.Puppy breath smells like new carpet.

Coppertone sunscreen. Actually, I like the smell of almost any sunscreen, but Coppertone always takes me back to my youth.:)

Noxema

Vicks Vaporub

Yankee Candle's Sun and Sand scent (It reminds me of a combination of Coppertone and Noxema..a win-win for me:laughing:)

Everybody I've ever mentioned the Noxema-smell thing to re. Sun & Sand has looked at me like I was on angel dust, but I swear that's what it smells like to me! It TOTALLY reminds me of the beach because when my brother and I were little and got sunburned, Noxema is what my mom slathered on us. Instant flashback. :goodvibes

Personally, these are other things I love the smell of...

gasoline

lighter fluid

the kind of permanent markers that aren't widely available anymore because inhaling the fumes from them kills brain cells

fresh asphalt

the exhaust from the cars at Tomorrowland Speedway

waterproofing stuff, like for decks (my brother jokes that I'm a huffer waiting to happen  )

Philosophy's Amazing Grace

Aquolina Pink Sugar

Bath & Body Works stuff: Limelight (RIP), White Citrus, Rainkissed Leaves, Dancing Waters, Vanilla Bean Noel, Eucalyptus Spearmint

any citrus fruit

the inside of POTC (the ride, not the actual pirates)

Michael's craft stores (I think it's the dried eucalyptus)

any coconut-scented sunscreen, or coconut macaroons

Puppy breath :lovestruc
The smell of wet soil
Sun block / sun tan lotion
Pizza place
Babies

chocolate chips baking in the oven
turkey in the oven
vanilla oil and coconut oil in my oil burner...smells like the beach :goodvibes
my son after his bath (he's 3)...and the strawberry scent to his hair
coffee in the bag/container...and I don't like coffee
gasoline
asphalt/pavement when it first starts to rain in the summer
any coconut/tropical smelling sunscreen/sunblock...love Coppertone and Banana Boat
a fire/fireplace burning cedar

I'm sure there is more, but glad to read I'm not the only one that likes some odd smells :lmao:

I just went back to the bedroom and woke my cat up to smell his feet, and they don't smell like Fritos. So yay for him, I guess.

this sounds crazy..but chlorinated water. It brings back swim practices and hanging out at my parent's pool in the summer with my friends.

also-coppertone sunscreen, and cinnamon.

Mines it's actually a perfume... i love the smell of the JLO fragrance called Still, seriously the best smell ever

Ha ha, chlorinated water all but causes night sweats for me; I was so bleeding sick of it after swimming competitively for more than 20 years.

One more: Yankee Candle At Home Rice Milk candles. I found an old one in a closet yesterday and have been burning it all day. It's FABULOUS. Totally fills the room with fragrance and I could even smell it on my clothes last night after burning it for a few hours. Of course, I don't know if they still make these, so I may be SOL after this one. Sigh.
