i just took a look at the AccuWeather 15 day forecast.... http://www.accuweather.com/us/fl/orlando/32830/forecast-month.asp

let's just say that i hope they aren't as accurate as their name claims..

while this coming week is looking rather glorious for all you over there already,
the week after (week of the 14th) has rain every day. Not thunderstorms, but rain....

i'm wondering what a forecast of rain means? does it mean just an afternoon rain? but those usually are thunderstorms and would be identified as such..

hmmm...

let's hope that the accuweather folks are less than accurate and that it all changes by the time i get there!! :goodvibes

Whenever we went in April there was always a 10 day forecast of rain and/or thundershowers every day ..... Once there was a thunderstorm followed by heavy showers one one of the days we were there - aside from that, nothing has come of the forecast.

As far as I know, these summary/icon forecasts will indicate rain if rain is expected at any point in the 24 hour period; so there may be none at all or it could just indicate the possibility of a quick shower.

You will drive yourself crazy looking at the forecasts
Every time we go I do exactly the same and panic about the weather and pretty much every time the forecast is wrong
You will have an awesome time and I bet you'll have great weather :)

This is my 11th trip and i don't want to tempt fate by saying this, but in the last 10 trips (aside from the hurricanes - 3 of them), I have only ever experienced one day where it rained all day long from morning til night. It's mostly just an hour or two in the afternoon! Hope so *** a week tomorrow wwe will be on our way!

The weather channel said we had 40% chance of rain today but nothing yet and I hope it stays like that as we are going to Magic tonight for EMH. Its very hot.

the funniest thing - when i was there last year in june - as it rained and poured, one of the locals said that they're having a drought in orlando.....
if that's how they define drought, i'd hate to see what they define as a deluge....

from your mouth to God's ear!! ;)

Honestly I don't both much with weather reports before we go they pretty much say thunder storms or rain but that pretty much happens most afternoons in Florida from experience but up till about 2pm and most evenings/nights it's rain free hope it's this same this year too :0)

Would never go off long range forecast
At the moment it's hot, hot, hot and unusually dry for this time of year
Would always expect afternoon t storms but at moment not yet lasting long and as the projected storm is staying in Atlantic will stay dry for a while

we're there then-so there will be plenty of rain!
Always non stop rain when we're in Florida :sad2:

we usually manage to jinx the weather when we're there too so I'm sorry the forecast might be right! That said, I live in the hope that one day our luck will change! I'm sure I've heard that weather can't really be predicted with any accuracy that far out

I have acuweather on my phone for the weather here and it's always wildly out and changes massively day to day for the long range forecast. I agree if it shows rain, it means at some point there will be rain.

We'll see soon enough

:scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

i don't remember when it was, but one of our trips it rained non-stop for an entire week ..

Well today its hot, hot and hot. Just returned from Magic to freshen up as its our last night and want to stay late after our meal, so hope the rain stays away.

Went to premium outlets and bass pro this evening ..... Torrential and I mean torrential rain and thunderstorm at 8 pm, then came back to villa and looked like they hadn't seen a drop :confused3

We where in Magic at 8:00pm although we were eating dinner at The Plaza at the time, when we came out we did hear thunder and see lightening but it never came to anything although wishes was delayed for 10mins.
