So I am looking through the Sears Wish Book and I come across the Mickey Mouse Waffle maker and well I ordered it!!!! I figure it will be a family Christmas gift and Mickey waffles will become part of our Christmas breakfast tradition!!! It wasn't cheap but can you really put a price tag on Mickey?? :confused3 I don't think so. I can't wait to use it!! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc ....(of course when DH comes with me today to pick it up HE wants to use it before Christmas but not tell the kids) I will have to wrap it quick before he breaks it out some night when he gets the munchies after the DK's are in bed!!!! :goodvibes

Fun!!

It's part of our tradition too:)..and sometimes Saturday nights...Tuesday nights...and Sunday mornings :teeth: :teeth: :teeth:

You can use a regular pancake recipe too..and throw in some bananas, berries, chocolate chips...mmm :goodvibes

And now we're hungry!! LOL!
Have fun - better use DuckTape to wrap it!!;);) LOL!

We LOVE ours ! DD's friends thought they were awesome when we served them the morning after a sleepover. :teeth:

We have them for suppers some nights ... there's nothing better than comfort food like that when it's cold outside! Add a side of bacon and our kids think we're the best parents in the whole world. :rotfl: Christmas breakfast is a no-brainer now!

Great Christmas gift :cool1:

We love our Mickey toaster. Every time the toast pops up and the music comes on I smile :flower:

My MIL bought one for me from Sears last year-and it was Cheaper to get it here thanit was in WDW!

I have a hint though-when you are making them take each out and put it ina skillet for a bit to keep it warm since you can only make one at a time

Do they work well? I was planning on buying my mom the Pooh waffle maker and toaster from Sears this year for Christmas. I'm working at Sears part time, so I'll save some money with my discount which will be nice.

Has anyone else seen the new Cinderella Waffle maker or Toaster?? I think it was in one of the supplemental sears catalogues. They seemed a little expensive but what a way to feel like a princess every morning! princess:

There are others out there!! My friends and co-workers love to laugh at the fact that I have Mickey appliances! But what beats the morning blahs better than hearing the Mivkey Mouse Mach in the morning.

I had a hard time deciding between the Mickey and the Pooh (he is my favourite) but I figured the kids would eventually grow too old for Pooh but never for Mickey! I think the toaster is next!!!

Canadave: You better add Mickey appliances to your Santa list!! ;)

Hockeymom: You bring the toaster and I'll bring the waffle maker to the next Dis-meet, we can have a breakfast meet!!!!!

My DBF brought over his parent's Mickey Mouse waffle iron last Christmas so we could have Mickey waffles! He forgot to take it home, and so I think we'll probably have Mickey Waffles again THIS Christmas. Hooray!

I like keeping them warm in the oven on a cookie sheet, but be sure to cover them with tin foil so they don't dry out!

Your on!!! Brunch it is.

We can eat off of My winnie the Pooh plates and drink wine out of Canadave's Mickey wine galsses.

Funny to be reading this post!! I was just surfing the sears site yesterday looking for something to get for my 11yo and found the Mickey toaster and told him that's what I would like for Christmas!lol now I need to go look at the waffle iron too!

::yes::

And if you have any left over...not likely, but sometimes it happens;) I stick them in a freezer bag, and then into the freezer.

Presto! A surprise, fun, "My Momma Luvs Me Lunch" for a day at school:):)
